Pioneer replaced most of my defective disc. I did have a few disc that warped out of tolerance. I procured two pieces of 12 x 12 x 1/2 inch plate glass (special order). Placed warped disc between the glass pieces then placed in oven on very low heat and heated till disc was warm. Removed and let sit for several days. This would usually remove the warp.
No CD failures, only a couple of DVD failures and only one BD failure. Never had any physical media stop and buffer, look worse than a bad VHS tape, most have little to no banding, etc. ![]() |

You are deluded if you think that’s the case imo.
Just of the top of my head I can recall several posts stating disc is dead and antedotes of stores losing their entire disc display. That’s just one member but there have been many others in this thread’s lifespan. How is that not fear mongering? You are wrong, face it. |
