But the point is some sellers opt to only sell on Amazon vs the costs of running their own storefront. So Amazon isn't necessarily a loss to them over selling directly, after factoring in other costs, and maybe adjusting the price for various fees.

The closest to this situation I can think of is the Network Blu-ray release of Money Python's Flying Circus, which was initially only available for sale/shipping from Network's UK online store, but did get an Amazon US pre-order listing before the Network store orders shipped:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...8#post16944678

People weren't happy about that either.

See like this... amazon is like a showview for costumers so they spot those sellers and go after their sites, if people buy from them directly the better for costumers and the seller, probably cheaper for costumer and profitable for seller... if the costumer just buys them thru amazon the only winner is amazon because is getting paid without selling anything. The only thing that must be taken in mind is if the price is better in one place or the other with the same service.

And nowadays people get mad about anything because they're so into their bellybuttons that for something just not being advertised as being on amazon is a total meltdown.
Amazon is good, but there's life beyond amazon.
To this day i've only bought 2 thing on amazon. Had to wait for them as much as with other thing that i've bought outside the EU. The carrier option they have here is a total screw up... one tracking number while they have others... carrier sends unlock package number that doesn't work when package arrives. So what gives? Problems are everywhere with or without amazon.

Hey, I'm totally fine with international shipping taking a while, I'm in no particular rush to get the disc. But the last update DHL has for my package is "PROCESSING COMPLETED AT ORIGIN" in Sydney, AU on August 6th. Is this normal/consistent with other people's experiences? It's been 22 days with no update and I'm wondering if I should be worried the package is lost. I'm US-based, for what it's worth.

It went from Sydney, AU to Auckland, NZ and radio silent after its departure on August 8th. Some people already received theirs (West Coast) and a few in Canada. i am on the east coast and still haven't received mine, i believe there is quite a few with the same status.

Shipping times have increased from 35 days to 75 days. Many ports are still understaffed meaning ships are not getting off loaded as quickly as they used to.

Wrote To random space media and since it's been over a month since shipment, they're going to send me a replacement from their us facility so I should be getting in a few days. Do suggest others who've waited a month to contact random space as well. Excellent customer service

Hi blmn

I did let them know that if I should ever get the one originally sent out, I would just ask for a return postage label to the US facility and return it to them.

You can just take it to the post office unopened and tell them you're refusing the package. Then it gets sent back and you don't have to do anything else.

How long after Jumanji released on their website was it up in the Amazon store? I want to buy the Resident Evil 4K set which is in their website store but doesn't seem to be in their Amazon store yet.

release 7/28. 1st report of an Amazon.com listing was 8/5 -- could have been up for a day or several before someone found it, but if RSM shipped a crate to AmazonUS warehouse that makes a little sense.

I'm waiting specifically to see is the Dual Feature 4K/3D Jumanji';s show up (also Sept 1) so check next Wednesday +/-

So far we aren't sure all RSM will come to Amazon or if that will be only certain items, but so far it appears to be most of their items.

Hi emailking

It was easier just telling the ups guy who rang my doorbell.

From the Jumanji thread, but I thought I’d comment here. Mission Impossible Fallout is definitely pretty close to the top of my list, if not my most wished for unreleased 3D Blu-ray. Even if Paramount doesn’t license it in the short term, if RSM do pursue Paramount in general, hopefully Paramount (and the same would apply to any other studio, Disney for one) will take notice of RSM knocking on their door, possibly causing them to pause and say “oh hey, could there be relatively effortless money here after all?” Or whatever they say when they’re deciding whether or not to release or license something, I’m assuming it’s mostly about the money. Like we needed a bad new transfer of the first MI movie to “celebrate” its anniversary What we really need is Fallout in 3D!

If Random Space Media are 'bulking up the [3D line]' with re-releases then that is a golden opportunity to source IMAX scenes, frame-breaking effects, Atmos audio and commentary tracks for a premium 3d experience.

Any of these 'missed opportunities' could be almost as popular as a new to market disc and would command a premium price and sales volume.

A basic repackaging of existing releases and double packs are of little interest.

Hope there will be another first time on Blu-ray 3D release this year from RSM.

"Men in Black: International" or "Alpha" would be great! "Mission Impossible: Fallout" would be bombastic!

If possible, a more affordable option for 'Black Widow' on 3D Blu-ray from RSM would be awesome. But nonetheless I can't wait to see what RSM has in store for us soon.

I just hope they sold boat loads of Jumanji 3D Blu-rays which gives them incentive to release more. I hope everyone in the 3D forums bought one at least. I know I did to support them. Not sure at what point they start making profit but I hope it was decent. I wish I was a billionaire just to donate for their cause.
