Well that was a quick announcement. Good flick, might pick it up depending on the price.

It's not exactly a holiday season kind of movie. I don't think they're really missing an opportunity.

How? The movie just came out, it's still in theaters.

It doesn't matter when they are announced. It is the release date...which is 2 months from now.

3.5 months from theater to purchase. Typical form is 4 months nowadays. this is perfectly in line

How is it so soon? They won't be able to get it for almost another two months.

Still adding to collection Day 1, but I'd recommend a rental for most. The political thrillers are hit or miss, and this one was a bit of both, IMO. It hit the mark on the cast, as they all carried the movie, but it missed the mark on plot, as it incorporated too much gossipy drama into it. Still worth watching, though.

I'm renting this one first because it looks interesting. If I like it I'll buy it for the right price. This is the whole reason I am a Netflix member.

This movie was PHENOMENAL. Cannot miss. I would go back to theaters to see it again.

But the vast majority of the public has no idea when a movie is being released on DVD/Blu until they either see an advertisement for it (which usually don't start up until a few weeks before the release, especially on releases with a quick turn around from the theater) or until they see it on the shelf. This is particularly the case with smaller movies like this. People who keep track of DVD/Blu announcements are in the extreme minority.

I saw this in the theaters. It's a really good boring movie. Not sure if it has any replay value.

+1, so to speak. I wasn't bored BUT having little replay value I would agree on. I might catch it again as a rental but a purchase is a no go. Blind buyers beware.

Completely disagree. As I said before, might be the best movie I saw all year.
