*If* I can manage to get the better prints of the three other films for 'All Censored 1' that can go as well. I have multiple copies of a few of the films, and a generous collector here lent me his copies of many of the films as well. I'm working on making sure the best versions are on the set.

Just managed to get two more Popeyes for the 'Popeye In Technicolor' set. Super excited to get that set done. The big goal is to keep one coming out after another right now, since so many are so close to being done.

On the Biker film: There still is a reel to rescan (on the regular telecine it was a little too warped- I hope to get up top Toronto before too long and scan it on the laser graphics scanner.
That's great news! Thanks, Steve!

I'm hesitant to ask, but any chance of getting in on Popeye in Technicolor before it goes out? Of the sets that were announced before I discovered this thread, that might be the one I most regret missing out on.

Debating on offering the set officially. It's coming out beautifully.

One of the other projects this weekend was starting to move all the old media from my old workroom's upstairs closet. There are old beta and VHS tapes, all the disc archives (from zip discs to CDs and DVD archives) to digibeta, 1" tape, 3/4" masters and other stuff. I scooped up a bunch of the really cool things I saw on them that we've never done anything with (for all sorts of reasons) and thought that it would make a really great collector's set.

So- here's a new special disc (BD-R) called:

"Steve's Closet"
This special set contains hours of rare material, some HD, and some from every possible source imaginable. It's a great set of things for the animation collector containing pencil tests, spots, clips, complete shorts and other things from all sorts of studios. If I'm unable to fit everything I want to onto a single disc, it will be on two. I'm going to try and have the set finished this weekend to send with some of the other things just getting finished.

This special set is limited to 65 copies. It's $19.95 plus $3 postage, $8 to Canada, $12 to other countries. Postage is free if you have any other Thunderbean orders. Paypal, as usual, is steves@thunderbeananimation.com. Make sure to include your address and 'Steve's Closet. In the paypal notes.

Thanks everyone for supporting these things and Thunderbean.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, I'm new to Thunderbean. Are the Popeye in Technicolor and Grotesqueries and Aesop's Fables Volume 1 together still available to order? I'm on the page right now and it says I can add them to my cart.

I also forgot to mention that I'm expecting Private SNAFU in the mail tomorrow. Very excited to check that one out! Gonna pick up the other sets for sure.

Hi Steve,

I just ordered "Steve's Closet." If you're actually successful at getting that done and out by this weekend, perhaps you could include a copy of Cartoony Christmas since that one is still missing in action.

Thanks,
Russ

Steve,

I still haven't received my Cartoony Christmas BD-R.

Can you check into this? I also sent you an e-mail.

In for Steve’s Closet. Tried telling myself not to order more discs until my initial batch was received, so that I didn’t keep pushing my order back, yet somehow I’ve put 4 more special disc orders in since then. Looking forward to them when they do arrive!

I have no idea why I was sent a second one. I posted on this thread back in 1/27 that I had received my copy.

I do know that one of the lists of who received 'Cartoony Christmas' from the received emails wasn't cross checked with the orders that were sent (I see they didn't cross them off). So, if you sent an email inquiring about not getting Cartoon Christmas, there is a possibility of getting two- keep them please rather than sending back. I don't see any 'Cartoony Christmas' left to go as of today, so check mailboxes in the coming days. I'm getting to the flood of emails from the past week or so right now, finally. I've had my head in new release business for the past week and a half or so.
