It's now on order.
Thanks again for spotting that one. I shouldn't be really that bothered about whether it's a pressed disc or not as I'm certain it will probably outlast me anyway.

I love Sir Alec Guinness for some of the same reasons. Same with any other character actor that you forget who they are until the credits roll.

I always felt that way about Edward Woodward and Robert Duvall.

Yes I agree with you about Alec Guinness. Although arguably better known for his Ealing comedies from the late 1940's/early 50's, I enjoyed his later and more 'serious' films such as The Bridge On The River Kwai. I loved the film Our Man In Havana too with the great Burl Ives.

Big thanks to Groot for sharing their set up. This post is directed at the pro digital members and I’m wondering what works for you. I know the preferred way to stream is hardlined for most. But I’m curious for those who stream without issues, are you hardlined or wireless, do you rent/own your router or use a modem and router separately in your set up? I’ve always rented equipment from my cable company and streamed wirelessly without an issue. However now I don’t know what my options are, what I’ll be pulling internet wise or if it is fiber optic until we move in at the end of the month. So just trying to get some ideas on the best equipment.

Yeah, one of the greats Tob. It was so odd seeing him in
[Show spoiler]Rogue One as a CGI character.

I preferred
[Show spoiler]Wayne Pygram portrayal of Grand Mof Tarkin in ROTS. Although I did think Guy Henry did a nice job too.
Here I am contributing to off topic posts. Seriously, all this gushing on great actors. It sounds like we should start our own thread in the general subforum

Well I'll hold my hands up and admit to being guilty of doing the same thing myself.

Are you going to argue that most of those people are versatile?
12 and 25 are certainly versatile.

It was so obviously CGI that it was just a little uneasy I think Tob. As for disrespectful, not sure how I feel about that Tob.

I agree with you. Tom Cruise for example, I generally enjoy his films, but then again I do like action movies and Cruise is good at those, and like you say it's the kind of role he normally plays anyway - Mission Impossible being the most obvious. However Tom Hanks for example is probably better suited for more drama type of films rather than the all-out action movies we see Cruise in.

There are definitely some versatile actors on that list and well paid supporting/character actors out there as well. So there’s nothing worth arguing about unless it is how far we continue to stir the thread off topic

Hardwired (gigabit) for all A/V stuff, N and AC wireless for all mobile devices, thermostats, laptops, etc. Cable modem provided by cable company but they do not charge a lease fee, they will use a customer supplied modem but will blame it if you have a problem.

Yeah, that’s been my wife’s argument whenever I talk about grabbing my own wireless router in the past too. They’ll replace their equipment, not ours.

I keep saying it's all Digital Bit Streaming, and with enough Consistent Bandwidth Disc Quality can be achieved. I see no difference in PQ with Streaming Digital HD as compared with BD. So Flyry is correct, it's the next Natural Order or Evolution.

I've had that experience of them trying to blame my eqiupment, but most of the time the issue is their equipment/line/signal. I've never had my own bought modems/routers fail. I just updated to new tech for more options.
