Anyone have a clue what this prompt is looking for??

AmazonPrompt.jpg

Cause it doesn't really appear to be a SSN

Unsure then. I'm still trying to decide if I want to get this or not myself.

Did you try your login password again?

Yes, I tried. I'm just curious about shipping fees and whatnot since I've never ordered from the Brazil site before. It pulled all my payment info and addresses in. I just can't get past this entry

I don't know. Sorry. I'm sure you probably wouldn't, but I definitely wouldn't put in my social security number. Just in case. If you figure it out, please let everyone know.

It probably doesn't matter since I don't think Amazon Brazil ships to the US (or anywhere international)

CPF is a taxpayer ID number given to individual in Brazil. I don't think it applicable to outside and the Translator calls it a SSN
which it's not really.

On other Brazil sites I just put a phone number or Library ID random number in that slot.
I guess now I don't have to decide if I want this or not.

It's not accepting values. It keeps going back and saying

The CPF you entered is incorrect. Check again if you typed it correctly.
If the answer is they don't ship to US anyway, I'm fine with that

In the past, there have been some group buys from Brazilian folks on this board -- the shipping from BR to the US is not cheap.

For non Exclusives I've had good luck ordering from Livraria Cultura which is sort of a Super-Barnes & Noble equivalent

I won't say 100% AmazonBr hasn't changed shipping policy, but the last time i checked a couple years ago they wouldn't - like Amazon Mexico, India, and Australia among others

That looks really nice and I didn't know Amazon Brazil were selling physical products 'cause previously it was only darn eBooks. lol

Also, like how they translated 'Far From Home' to 'Longe de Casa' in Brazilian Portuguese and in Portuguese, but that's really it. Not as though there were too many other ways to translate it and the one that makes the most sense.

Hi all. I'm from Brazil and, for now at least, I believe our Amazon doesn't ship to other countries. But I recommend you to join 'Blog do Jotace' group on Facebook so you can talk to great collectors in Brazil and maybe one of them would be able to send the steelbook to you ;D

So, similar to Amazon India that does not ship to other countries.

And Amazon Mexico. It's pretty annoying that they don't cause their prices can't be beaten for the items I want to buy.

Unfortunately Amazon Brazil does not ship internationally.
I can get a couple extra copies if anyone is interested. I have no idea how much shipping would cost, but thatīs easy to find out.
Iīd be glad to help some fellow collectors!
