Good question. Don't mean to poo on the thread but members here always look out for each other. I wouldn't advise anyone here to buy any until the amp issue is corrected. Check the other forums for the many people waiting on reliable replacement amps.

MLS (AV123 Owner) posted EVERY MFW-15 being offered for sale will have the new amp.

I'm seriously considering getting one...if any B-stock exists.

IF the amps are corrected- seems like a hell of a deal to me. I personally won't be upgrading but if you're in the market for a new sub, I would think you'd have to put them on the short list with the other fellas now. Hopefully they stick to this kind of pricing.

You do realize that this particular subwoofer is worth more than $699 anyways, right? Yes.

Compare to other subwoofers or take a look at Craigsub reviews and ratings and you'll see that it out performs many others of $1000+

I love mine. Worth every penny.

I bought mine last July and have never had a problem with it at all. I know a few people here and there but they have excellent customer service, so I wouldn't sweat it. More than likely it'll work flawlessly, but in case of a minor problem they WILL take care of you.

At $499 you really can't afford to hold off. I did last year when it WAS $599 and waited for a month for them to come back in stock.... then the price went up to $699 and I bought it just in case it kept going up and I didn't want to be down any further on the wait list. I waited 2 months.

I know the retail price, it's just that there is a point of diminishing returns when upgrading (as opposed to buying new) that makes it something I'll have to pass on for now. As far as sticking to the pricing, I still personally hope they do it because it makes them a lot more competitive with the likes of eD and SVS and their initial offerings.

I've been looking for a deal to upgrade and this is too good to pass up. Just got off the phone with Jeff and they have plenty of B-stock. I just ordered a Satin Black MFW-15 for $579 shipped. They should ship out end of June and they won't charge the cc until then. He did confirm that any MFW-15 shipping will have the new amp. Now I just have to survive telling my wife.

Shipping for mine new was $130. It ships at 120lbs. Its heavy.

Perhaps. They do have other subwoofers for entry level positions.

The MFW-15 is one of their top performers and goes in the same categories as some of the higher offerings of eD and SVS.
