They need to get commitments from these guys as far as if you want to play in the Olympics, you are going to have to commit to World Cup and qualifying tourneys but I know that will be a tough sell in the modern NBA.
oh i get it, i just expect more regardless of what happens.

a mid range guy like Demar would be perfect for the international style of play. need more shooters

If only there was a motivated USA veteran who understood midrange basketball...

Of course, Canada should get their act together, too. They'd have the second-best line-up (perhaps not TEAM, but definitely talent-wise) in the world if everyone played.
It's all about load management. Lol

Embarrassing. Hope this is a wake up call before the Olympics. Is Colangelo not in charge of the roster anymore? Can Kryzewski be convinced to return next year? Ugh.

Edit - just saw a story that Colangelo said he won't forget about the guys who bailed on the World Cup team this year when it comes time to assemble the Olympic roster, which I totally get but if the goal is to win a gold medal next year you are just gonna have to swallow your pride a bit to get the best guys on the squad.

In other news, Joe Johnson turned his Big3 showing into a one year deal with the Pistons

And that was quintessential Australian Boomers basketball. Lead most of the way and sh*t the bed right when it matters most.

Who here uses the nba digital pass or doesn't have cable?

I got rid of cable and I usually watch games after they've aired at night. The problem with this in relation to the nba league digital pass is it shows the scores of the game after its over so I can't click it without having the game ruined. Anyway, what do you stream/follow teams with?

I watched 30 for 30: Dennis Rodman - For Better or Worse last night, really good. Gives great insight on why he turned out the way he did

NBA League Paas has an option under settings where you can hide the scores.

On that subject, anybody Comcast users here get League Pass? Sucks that they have SD channels on all but one of the games. Also two years ago if you got LP from Comcast the internet-based NBA LP would be included.

But last year Comcast was excluded from the list of providers on the website. So I had to choose and bought it on the website instead (mainly to be able to watch historical games anytime, or any games from the beginning of the season).

However I prefer to watch the games on my TV (usually with a short delay to skip the commercials). Well fortunately a lot of the Laker games will be nationally televised.

From what I’ve gathered League pass is garbage here in the States. They blackout all the good games basically (nbatv, local games, nationally televised on espn, tnt, abc).

I decided to pass on it and just went with Sling TV orange which has espn, tnt and thru the espn app using ur sling id, u can watch the abc games. The money wasn't worth it to me to spend on league pass with so many blackouts. Sling also has a sport add on for •10 that includes nbatv if u need that too.

U could set up a vpn and do a workaround to buy league pass from another country tho and avoid the blackouts.
