USA (US) Surviving Jack

Quote:
Surviving Jack is an American television series that is airing mid-season on Fox as part of the 2013–14 American television season.[1] On May 8, 2013, Fox placed a thirteen-episode order for the single-camera comedy.[2][3][4] The series is written by Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker, and is based on Halpern's autobiographical book I Suck at Girls. On October 25, 2013, the order of episodes was cut to eight, due to scheduling restrictions.[5]
Quote:
Set in 1990s Southern California, the series centers on Jack Dunlevy, an ex-military man and no-nonsense guy who becomes a full-time parent when his wife decides to go to law school. He takes an unorthodox approach to keeping his teenagers, Frankie and Rachel, in line.

I thought it was ok. Nothing special IMO and I rarely saw anyone talking about it online or at work. I guess this thread shows that. The first post of this thread is the announcement of the show and the second is of its cancellation.

I rather enjoyed it, nice easy to watch comedy. guess part of it could have being to down Fox scheduling of the show, different time different night might have survived

I never understood why brooklyn nine nine took off. I watch the pilot and thought this is quite possible the worst show on TV and will be pulled by the third week.

Yeah I'll miss it too, sadly it also looks like Fox is not going to air the next scheduled episode if TV.com is any indication, makes you wonder if they're going to air any of the rest.
