I wonder how well this will work. Most old game purists will tell you that old, pre-HD games look rotten on modern flat screens. I'm not expecting a super amazing solution here, but I'd be curious to see if offers an improvement over component cables, or proves a viable alternative to hunting down a high end CRT. |

I'm wondering (and haven't gotten a chance to ask on Twitter) how this handles games that have different resolutions during gameplay and menus, especially with 4k panels. With upscalers you get a blank screen while the HDTV adjusts to the different resolution, sometimes lasting several seconds. I wonder if it'll work like the PS3 does.
