This is a legitimate release, all the episodes are in NTSC format however the discs are region 4. This went out of print in 2018 and this is the first time any stock have surfaced since, and it’s a terrific price.

Oh man, paid around $60 or so two years ago. I would buy again if it’s a region 1 release. I guess there’s no hope of that?

I ordered and received this today. It is a legitimate copy that is Region 4 locked. Picture quality is very good, but I don't think it has any extras.

Is the “banned” Dial M for Monkey episode Barbequor included or did they leave it out?

I bought the episode of Dexter that includes that segment on iTunes a number of years ago. The listing indicates that it’s part of it, but it’s not. It’s the version they showed on Cartoon Network after they pulled it in reruns.

I am not seeing it. The segment's title card reads "Dexter's Lab: A Story," and it appears to be "Jurassic Pooch." I will keep an eye out for the segment and report back if I find it in any form.

Yep, they replaced it with "Dexter's Lab: A Story" in repeats and in the iTunes version. That sucks.

It's a really good episode - even if it's not very PC. At least it's on YouTube.

Is there a chance of more seasons getting released on region 1 DVD? They started releasing more seasons for Duck Dodgers and Taz-Mania after releasing the first two seasons for both show in 2013 and 7 years later are releasing additional seasons.

It's a thick translucent plastic case that has five flippable but secured trays that hold two discs apiece, with hubs for discs 1 and 12 on the inside faces of the case. Definitely sturdier than similar cases for Paramount TV multi-season sets.

The cover insert has abbreviated episode titles printed on the inside, essentially unreadable unless slid out of the case. There's a slipcover with the unnecessarily oversized rating logo and no other insert. No subs, and the Season 1 "Barbequor" episode has been replaced with "Dexter's Lab: A Story" from Season 2 (which is then repeated on Disc 4 of Season 2). Each segment and interstitial gets a chapter stop. Menus are inconvenient as so far there have been no titles used, just images indicating episodes. Overall picture quality is acceptable; aliasing is apparent in small details like those in the Table of Elements interstitial.
