sd card stop read s20 plus early yesterday morning need help

I don't know what heck happen I was going to take a pic of something I assumed around 10-10:30

I get message saying sd card can't read then another message saying what I gotten before 1 time last year sd card was unsafely removed I made that go away by wipe system cache


I remember going that week to Walmart telling them what happen since that where I got phone before Christmas last year

guy was too busy talking to a worker saying glitch i'll moved on so to speak


however this was something new I have never seen that sd card can't read I did get notification on that and another sd card unsafety<-2 system ui notifications

I read Samsung community find system ui in app clear memory force stop and reboot it work on another phone I'm not sure what that phone was I think was a note when I try searching for that in apps doesn't exist

however because I restarted that notification went away Samsung told me to clear data on home one ui that didn't help

I went over to Verizon women idiot she insert it out and insert back in nothing kept saying phones don't need sd cards yada yada they still don't have any tech's due to covid

I went over to another cell phone place apparently they wouldn't be open until tues and leaving phone over there couldn't fixed

my dad took it out put back in still same thing I wanted to see if it works old s7 phone see sd card still reads on that or not

he was too afraid might brake something did't want to open it up again

I kindof did open slim tray s7 phone might be little fast little slim card fell out I can't seem to put it back in too scare asked my dad put it granted I don't used it

the thing is sd card on my s20 plus if you go to my files it's saying insert sd card when put it will show stuff sd card basically

the bad thing Is I have to suffer wait until tues when cell phone place opens

i'm little afraid to try open my phone with key slim tray put sd card in it see reads since I can't even get slim card back in s7 when it fell out


again I have no idea why it stop reading early past sat morning I get the sd unsafety thing I should hadn't restart my phone left everything alone Verizon

any tech folks in here can shed some light onto what happened?

I got both s7 slimcard and tray in a Ziploc bag I did charged up my old phone also

I guess because too afraid to tell my dad that I kindof use key open system tray s7 and I must pull it out little hard I didn't know little slim card fell out

and why i'm having had time putting it back in

now if I have to used old phone for a day until get work on they have to put slim card back in s7 when bring old phone

if sd card works on s7 that came from there switch s20 plus i wonder if possible if instead of paying 30 bucks open up back of phone work on it i hope for a day

again in know that Verizon tech folks still don't have but i wonder if easy if cell phone just copy stuff on s7<-again if reads on sd card and i get new sd card move it over new one i'll throw old sd card away?

if that will be easy to do i don't even know sd card needs to be clean or not very sad because i have to suffer using Verizon crappy ringtones instead of mine

because sd card on camera setting new camera in internal storage can't see other pics meh

I'm sure you already tried this, but did you try rebooting your device? It could also be a bad card, a bad driver, a hardware failure, etc.

yeah that what I already mention hmm I was wrong 1st time I saw message system ui telling me restart your phone sd card was removed unsafety was back on march 21st of this year when I got up that sun morning and I never unmounted sd card at all up to that day btw

I restarted phone still got notify I watch a YouTube clip and saw that you wipe system cache and I did reboot again everything good

if card dies i'll blame that Walmart phone guy who was 1 of guy who set up my phone from s7 to s20 getting old sd card out and putting in s20 because I did go over there that week he was too busy another worker saying glitch I walk away moved on

did that come up again yesterday yes but before that system ui saying can't read sd card<-that a new thing if it's dead i'm going to blame that fool

however if does works s7 phone when bring back over cell phone place have tech look at it not Verizon btw

maybe they can just get find another way to just move everything off sd card me get a new one sd card and throw away

perhaps I need to also take my usb plug in on old phone not sure they got a computer they can hook up do it then again perhaps sd card needs cleaning or something else is matter I don't know

yeah I had to get new sd card everything was gone maybe they would had saved it if I never restarted I don't know cell phone repair shop told me it was encrypted didn't even work old phone s7 sd card not inserted had to start over put a lot of music and fixed notification ringtone folder so don't have to used Verizon ringtones anymore

music took an hour get fixed last tues btw

Sorry for your loss, I mean all the data you had on that sd card. I think that this is one more reason why I choose iPhone over any android phone.

Always backup all your files, and pickup the most RAM and Rhum (sorry...ROM).
