Was there some sort of data loss recently or with the site outages that might've disconnected an old table or two? Just curious!
I think there was some data loss a few years back.

Thanks!
If you go to search collection, https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/searc...8&categoryid=7 and set video resolution to 1080p. That brings up just regular Blu-ray doesn't it. I agree there should be a way to see only Blu.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/searc...action=search&

You lose the spine view option with search though.

The issue is that a "4k" (actually named "Ultra HD Blu-ray" by the Blu-ray Disc Association, who created the spec) are Blu-rays, they are just enhanced for increased capacity and throughput. It is like looking at a collection of rectangles and squares: All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares. You can only separate them by name in one direction, but you can narrow a search to create exclusive views for both.

If you want to see only the 1080p-resolution Blu and exclude the 4k-resolution Blu, then filter it accordingly:
  • Mobile App: whole collection -> Blu-ray -> scroll down to filter by: video resolution at the very bottom.
  • Site in Browser: Collection -> Blu-ray tab -> Search Collection -> Video Resolution drop-down.

Note that on the main site it lists many options for resolution, and some vanilla Blu-rays are 720p or 1080i, so there may be oddities depending on your collection. The mobile app seems to group everything below 4k together as just 1080p.

Hope all that helps. Rock on.

How do I add DVDs to my collection? My collection shows plenty of Blu-rays that I have added, but it doesn't even seem to register that I've added a DVD.

If you are using the website. Search the DVD database. https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/

If you are using the App. You need to go to settings and enable DVDs .

If you’re using the site (not app), you just need to click on either the “DVD” tab, or the “Complete” tab, of your collection.

Would it be possible for the site admins to increase the maximum allowed "Titles per page" site preference on the "My collection" page from the current 500 to something like 1000 or 2000? It'd be nice to have the option as I'd happily trade any slight performance penalty during page-load for the convenience of not having to switch pages so often.

Is it possible to add Movies Unlimited to the 'Retailer' dropdown menu when adding movies to your collection? TIA.

Looks like the for trade category does not get recognized by the trade matcher. Once I moved the same movie to for sale, it acknowledge my film at least. In the for trade category, it kept telling me that I first need to populate the relevant categories.

I know this sounds a bit nuts but is there a easy way to add entire studios to the Watchlist? For instance I want to add all the Arrow Video titles and for both A & B regions.
Adding each title individually would be a lot of work.

Default Title not found in My Movies App

Hey there. Just wanted to let you know that the title “Your Name” isn’t found in the My Movies App.

Here are the details…

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Your-...lu-ray/306484/

GTIN
EAN-13: 9322225244252

Edit…I’ve just added it via this website. Only wanted to let you know that the App wouldn’t recognise it.

That's strange, it shows up for me. Did you select the country flag?

I'm seeing it too, with Australia selected as country.

If you are not finding it in your collection on the app, try refreshing the app. A lot of times if you add to your collection on the site, you will need to refresh the app.

Sorry, I should have been clearer.

It now appears in my collection in the App, but only because I could add it to my collection on this website.

Initially, when I went to add it to the App via scanning the barcode, the App wouldn’t recognise it.

So the only way to add it was via this website.

BUT, I’ve just checked the App, & it appears on the Scanned list now. So maybe the barcode was added recently?

Yep that's it. MooneyRara added the barcode. Which made it able to be scanned.

Where are you seeing those numbers? Both of those titles scan for me.

If you look at the forms for those two entries, you will see the UPC/EAN:
