Looks a lot better than I expected it to. Characters are still annoying. I look forward to playing it on gamepass. It's not something I'd buy, but since it'll launch day one I'll give it a go. Maybe I'll be surprised and love it!

I shall give it a shot once it's on Gamepass. Not sure about the superpower angle, and I hope the main character won't be as logorrheic as she is in the trailer.

From the Redfall FAQ:

I feel like most people will be playing this on Game Pass so I doubt an online connection being necessary will affect the game much.

That’s why I said I don’t think it will affect the game much. The majority of the userbase will come from Game Pass.

Last I read the developer is working to remove the online connection from single player. They claimed it was only to gather telemetry data.

You can if they’re downloaded to your Xbox and that console is set as the Home console for your account. But you would still have to download the game to your console, which means you’d have to be online to initially access it.
