Yup. This is what you can choose from...

16gb, 32gb or 64gb - WiFi only
16gb, 32gb or 64gb - WiFi + 3G

If you're interested in the 2nd gen device just announced, there are 2 3G models. One is Verizon compatible and the other is AT&T. All of them have built in WiFi though.

Yes you do, if you have an iPhone though, or any phone that can double as a wifi hotspot you'll be able to use that and wouldn't need to pay extra for the 3G + wifi model.

Yes, data plans are separate BUT it's a month to month plan with NO contract.

I can't speak for Verizon but AT&T charges $15 for 250mb and $25 for 2Gb of data per month. The nice thing is there's no contract so you can use it as you wish on a monthly basis.

Yes. It's completely separate. Just like add-a-line. That's how Verizon will be anyway.

Yes, IF you want to pay for the extra tethering option. Both AT&T and Verizon are charging an extra $20 per month to use the wifi hotspot feature. Not to mention AT&T will not allow you to add tethering if you're in a grandfathered unlimited plan. They force you to bump down to a lower data limit with the tethering add on.

Now, if you want to jailbreak your iPhone you can purchase a program called MyWi for $20 and there's no monthly fee through the carrier. It works exactly the same as the personal hotspot. You just have to watch how much data you're using as most carriers have a 5gb cap on the unlimited plans. They generally won't mess with you if you go over that 5gb unless you constantly obliterating that cap month after month.

I'll sell you my first gen 64GB 3G+Wi-Fi model for $800 even with the original Apple Case. For $300 more, you will get two Vaja cases (Retail $250 each -- One black and one brown). Everything else I would need to keep since the wife will still be using her iPad.

Any takers???

Really? I'm hoping that's a joke. The 1st gen 64gb 3G model is $729 brand new and even $50 less for a refurb model. That's prices direct from Apple.

Actually, my model is $829 new plus another $40 for the case. I'll drop it to $750 then. Cases are still at $300. And yes, this is a serious offer.

Actually, no it's not $829 anymore. It used to be.

The 2nd gen iPad has been announced and the 1st gen 64gb 3G model has been lowered to $729 brand new and $50 less for refurbs. These are Apple prices (not used prices). So basically you're asking more than what Apple wants brand new.

Take a look for yourself...

Oh well. I'm still sticking to my price. I'm not in any hurry to sell. The iPad 2 is not enough of an improvement for me to justify right now.

I hear ya. Prices suck right now. This is probably the worst I've ever seen for value on previous gen Apple products.

Has anyone heard if Target will get these on launch day? I tried calling three different Targets and not a single person in their electronics department had any clue. Sucks there's no preorder.

I know someone with a 16gb wifi model with Apple Case and Dodo Case for $325 shipped priority. It is less than 2 months old all original packaging and charger, etc If anyone is interested, PM me.

Side note..I'm probably going to snag up one of these. Not thrilled with the 16gb though. I don't think that will be enough storage for me.
