Cover Scans - Blu-ray Forum

Thought I'd start a thread for people who want offical cover's scanned so they can print them off for whatever reason. I know we have a "Custom Cover" thread but I did not see one for just offical covers scanned.

So post your scanned covers or if your feeling like taking request then thats cool to.

I'm interested in getting all the new Bond 50 single release covers. So if anyone is willing to scan in any they may have then great!

But on the other hand this is a place where "Credits" don't exist. Just a place to post Cover scans!

Need help! I would like to get a scan of "Blackbeard" from Echo Bridge.

The reason is: I already own the stand-alone version of "The Curse of King Tut's Tomb" on Blu-ray and I later found and bought that combo for $5:

So I would like to get the stand-alone cover for Blackbeard to put on the combo! Tahnks in advance!

I could really use a scan of "The Soloist" cover. Found a used copy without coverart and haven't been able to track a decent scan down...

Would definitely like scans of all the new OO7 covers, including for the titles first released in 2008 and 2009.

Heres hopeing! I think the Blu-ray.com community is wonderful. I'm sure people will be willing to scan some covers in. I'll star scanning some that I own once I get a scanner.

haha, yeah, i think so, you can, use a scan of "The Soloist" cover. Found a used copy without coverart and haven't been able to track a decent scan down..

Official Cover art is a copyrighted piece of work by the studios and sharing it online is very much frowned upon. So much so that hosting it can and will likely get you a cease & desist letter. With that said, check http://www.cdcovers.cc/ they currently have over 3000 different blu rays with cover/disk/backcover art. (This does include customs.)

I know there are plenty of cover scans at custom maniacs.

I have an account on r1db.com which is hi-res scans and customs. I have 60+ credits right now and rarely use them myself, so if anyone sees something there they can't find anywhere else, send me a polite PM and I'll hook ya up.

Whaaa?

People scan covers and post pictures of them all the time, and I doubt they've received cease & desist letters. I don't see why you should get in trouble for posting something that people see for free on store shelves and websites.

FedEx refused to print my custom James Bond covers at first saying it was a copyright issue. I told them they were custom and pointed out the lack of UPC and then they went through with it.

Totally worth it getting FedEx to print them in my opinion. I think it was about $0.69 a page and they came out perfect. When I buy ink for my printer it's about $120! (And I tried printing one with my printer and it didn't come out as good either.

I used the James Bond covers from customaniacs. I objected a bit to having to pay them but a few dollars later and all was well. It does cost them money to provide the service they provide.

If this thread became a "freebie" version so to speak it could/would use up some of the forum bandwidth.
