You're really subscribing to these OTA reports, huh? lol
Both fine and walking around (Lazard went down hard and got back up)
These "stories" are not stories in May.

I & from what ive read a bunch of others have asked them about multiview if we can pick the 4 games we want to see not them picking the 4 games the way theyve been doing it.
Response was theyre still working on it.
If we can pick the 4 i would get ST but i severely doubt we will know by 6/6 so im gonna stay with just redzone.

I really doubt they will offer that kind of flexibility at first, i think they will have a hard time adjusting to this new format as i just dont think their service is ready for the amount of traffic they will receive from it.

I see lots of spinning wheels, buffering, stuttering and overall large growing pains for the first year of this service. Watching 30 minute videos or streamers who at the very most carry 10-20k viewers at one time, going to viewers in the possible million range will put their hardware under stress it has never had to deal with before imo.

100% what I've been saying for a while now as it's essentially what I do for a living (IT capacity management). If they think they're gonna be able to sustain the hit of traffic on Opening Day without going through all of the necessary steps to mitigate issues, they're sorely mistaken. When DTV/ST was under the AT&T umbrella, extensive burst/load/stress testing was executed well in advance of Opening Day every year to ensure that the system was able to handle the volume and that was a satellite service that was not dependent upon varying internet speeds. My guess is that it's going to be an unmitigated mess. I truly hope I'm wrong considering how I don't think the NFL will leave this all up to chance with their product and will ensure that thorough testing will be completed, but I don't have a good feeling about it.

Without looking up the numbers, even though it's the SB and viewership is indeed higher, that viewership is split amongst multiple platforms (broadcast TV and streaming) and within streaming, multiple apps. Sunday Ticket on YT is now the only game in town and needs to be able to absorb that full load of traffic.

YouTube announced today that they are upgrading the number of streams it offers with NFL Sunday Ticket to unlimited on your home network. Previously it was just two simultaneous streams on your home network

You can also access 2 additional streams on the go.

The last time Netflix had a systemwide outage was on Christmas Eve 2012. That includes a time in 2017 when Amazon S3 went completely offline (which knocked out 150,000+ websites, but not Netflix because of their failure implementation.)

It's possible that Google Cloud isn't up to par with AWS. They've had a few high-profile systemwide outages in the past 5 years.

Arizona cut DeAndre Hopkins yesterday and in doing so took a $22m dead cap hit
Ravens, Patriots and Bills said to be the teams interested in signing him

Jon Gruden working with Saints and Carr installing new offense in New Orleans

Interesting stuff going on with Jimmy G and the Raiders. Apparently he failed his physical so the Raiders added a waiver to his contract giving them an option to get out of the deal. Also, seems to be the reason his introductory press conference was delayed.
