I'm kinda excited for it since it's an original flick but at the same time, all their human characters do seem to live in the same universe now. These characters wouldn't look out of place in Raya, Moana, Frozen or Tangled. Maybe even some of the Pixar flicks too.

It's the first film since Winnie the Pooh that will be presented in 1.85 instead of 2.39.

As opposed to all the other Disney animate films that were geared towards adults?? Honestly why are you surprised at this? Young kids are the target audience but that doesn’t mean everyone can’t enjoy it.

He didn’t for Moana, why would he do it here? It’s Colombia so rap wouldn’t be culturally accurate for their traditional music.

He snuck a bit of it in during "You're Welcome" I am expecting something similar in this one.

It was more a patter than a rap, very similar to Under the Sea part where Sebastian sings:
"The newt play the flute

Looks cute! Disney Animation Studios has always been like a slightly watered down Pixar (still quite good, though). They always manage to keep that childlike magic alive, and this looks no different (and is actually about magic). The fact it'll have catchy music is a bonus.

I totally blacked that out in my mind. Probably also helps it’s the one song in the movie that grates on me so I skip it.
