District 9 was made for $30 million. It did $210 million at the box office.

Nonsense. He went on to do Die Hard which IMO is his best effort yet.

They have streamed some live events in theaters, right? Can't they do more live concerts that way? Or Broadway shows?

I love Die Hard, it's great, but he did his best acting in Moonlighting in my opinion.

That hasn't brought in much revenue. They tried live sports (basketball) and big boxing matches. Seen one lately?

Keep in mind that any suggestions for packing theaters will have to wait until the pandemic is over. We have at least another 6 to 8 moths to go.

It's not about packing them, but giving them some content to show if the studios keep delaying movies.

Movie theaters are facing another dilemia at the end of this year. Virtual Print Fees - the money the Hollywood studios pay theaters to offset their cost to install digital projectors ends on December 31, 2021. They will be on their own for purchase and maintenance of their projectors and the ancillary equipment to drive them.

I'll take another delay if it means I get to see The Lost Boys on my theatre's biggest screen again with amazing sound.

They will do what they did last year: host watch parties and show older content.

Not really, because the content is already out there, but most theaters don't want to show most of the content.

Maybe they could hook up a video game system to the screen and have competitions for prizes.
