With the number of bigger titles that they still haven't upgraded, and the number of newly licensed titles, I just don't see them bothering to upgrade titles like this (which are really more important/interesting for legal reasons than they are as movies.) And if I wrong one would only be out $6 shipped.

Not trying to discourage people buying this, but them being famous arthouse movies known for nudity isn't necessarily a commercial disincentive to upgrade. If it was some obscure B&W 29.99 SRP DVD title, you'd have a point, but this is a conveniently small box set. Stranger things have been upgraded, and stranger things (from a commercial/critical perspective) have definitely been released in nice packages in the BD era.

FWIW, AllMovie actually gives Yellow 4 stars. That's pretty high for them.

I suspect an I AM CURIOUS Blu-ray is likely, but not anytime soon unless/until the Swedish Film Institute undertakes a restoration. The last time a Criterion DVD that old was issued on Blu-ray without a new restoration mentioned in the press packet was 2013, and the I AM CURIOUS DVD box set was reprinted in 2018.

DD has muffed up two recent orders of mine by just not shipping or updating me after placing an order and not even cancelling or apparently "not able to cancel". Both orders I waited 2 entire weeks before the first one was automatically refunded but not officially noted as cancelled and I had to open a paypal claim for the second one. I have never had this problem before with them but I'm going to attempt one more order from them before just calling it quits with DD

I added it to my order. It's the 2003 release and they're still selling the 2018 release, so I'm not that surprised they're dumping the out of print version for $3.99. I've found many good DVD deals on their $3.99 list, and using the 15% discount too. I combed the entire list at that price yesterday, ~2200 titles!
