Default Mitsubishi 92 inch 3-D question

I will soon be getting the 92 inch, I just sold my WD73735 , question is will my shutter glasses work with the 92" and will I still need the adapter i bought to view content on Direct TV. I have the Panasonic bluray player that outputs in checkerboard format so thats not a concern, Any feedback would be great, thx

As far as I know, the same glasses should work. There will be no need for additional equipment since it's not 3D ready, it's full on 3D.

You shouldn't, no. I've been looking at this unit myself and from everything I've seen and read, you will not have to use the adapter kits any longer. You will plug your receivers, cable boxes, etc directly in.

I can't wait to see it. I plan on upgrading from 82 to 92 as well myself. When I got my 82inch 92 was not out yet. I think I will keep my 82 inch for about 5 years than upgrade to a 92 inch. Since mits make modeal every year. I can only imgine how cool it will be to have a 92 inch 5 years from now.

I don't know it Mits will be in the DLP RP business is 5 years they have been cutting back on models and sizes as the LCD tV become larger and and less costly. It may not be economical for them to continue in making DLP sets.

I had a Mits 73" and sold it to a friend when I bought the 65" 3D one. I've had that for a little over a year now and love it.
So the wife says to me" why don't we buy the 92" one for Christmas?"
I'm like, "Are you serious?". She says yes, so around Christmas we will be getting the 92". I priced it on Amazon and right now the price is 3,999.00. Not bad but it will probably drop even more. Sure would be nice if it dropped down around 1,500.00 -2,000.00.
I can't wait.

I think the mits Laservue is the best TV on the market right now but it only goes up to 75 inches. You think they will ever make a 82 or 92 inch Laservue?

Man, that's a great deal. Unfortunately I have to wait until at least December. I'm sure the price will be much lower by then. I'm in the process of refinancing our house right now and taking advantage of the lower interest rate and mortgage payment. By the time Dec. rolls around I'll have plenty for the new TV.

I doubt it - I think the problem is the power output of the lasers to get a good brightness level. Higher output lasers would require a redesign of the set electronics and I doubt based upon the volume of sales that Mits would make the investment.
