8.5/10 Cant wait to see whats after part 2. Time to mix in some new characters. Also a Doctor Strange sequel would be nice

Saw: Avengers Infinity War
A return to form for the MCU (I haven't seen Black Panther so maybe that was as well), which outside of GOTG2 has been meandering for me for a little while. Hopefully this tone and use of comedy is more what we see going forward (i'm sick of a joke being used to undercut a serious moment for the most part in the MCU).

I may be odd, but I feel the villain is what provided the heart of this film. Probably the most "human" villain the series has had which is helped a lot by the actors performance.

Really good 3d as well with some nice strong shoots, if you are going to see this and your local cinema does 3d at all well, I strongly recommend the 3d version.

It is the story of Thanos! a very cool inversion of expectation.

I never have enough patience to sit through the credits. I guess
[Show spoiler] there had to be something, I mean, the Ant Man trailer didn't have any hint of repercussion from Infinity War.

Still, pretty cool ending.

Ant-man 2 takes place before infinity war from what I understand.

Deadpool 2

... maybe a 6/10? it wasn't anything spectacular, but it did have a lot of gags which were very clever and funny.

Deadpool 2 -

Had a couple of nice surprises, but other then that.... Quite frankly - it just wasn't very good and felt kinda 'meh' Thin plot, found myself falling out of the film on a few occasions, quite a few lame jokes topped off with some bad acting from Julian Dennison.

5/10

Deadpool 2 4/5.

Seen at gold cinema3 @ Reading Cinema Courtney. Awesome sound system. Quite restrained and deep low end. Images very well for the back row from the fronts to the surrounds. Better than Roxy anyhow.
loved the film simply because it tries to subvert expectation with villian progression. The jokes had me in stitches.

Saw: Deadpool 2
I am quite amazed by how positive the reaction has been to this film. I found it an unfunny, poorly written mess. Which they even acknowledge the poor writing, which to me doesn't excuse the bad writting. There are a few things that work well, most notably Cable and a few moments are enjoyable. But I found myself getting bored several times during the film (especially in the finale) and whilst I was mildly amused a few times I wasn't even brought to a chuckle let alone a proper laugh. Which is quite the problem for a comedy. :/

Yeah, he was horrid. Limited acting ability combining with a sub par script and this is what you get.
