Star Trek Enterprise - Really Cheap Blu Complete Series 6.25

I just got a notification that Hitchcock Vol. 2 shipped. The Spielberg set is out of stock with no date and Star Trek: The Original Series is not available new anywhere online in the UK.

I doubt the ST:TOS set will ship. I bet the odds are less than about 50-50 on the Spielberg one.

Spielberg set still seems to be OOS but I don't mind waiting.

I got Defiance yesterday. I could hear bits of hub pieces rattling around in the case. Sigh.

Regarding the Spielberg and STOS sets, at what point does Amazon say:

We recently learned the following item is no longer available from our supplier. As a result, this item has been cancelled from your order. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Got the email on Monday, that the STOS was still out of stock and I could cancel the order and get the newer copy but not at the same price. I guess I will wait until the cancellation notice.

Not bad overall. The only bummer was that season one of The Hollow Crown was region locked. Everything else was a fantastic bargain.

Amazon is taking back orders for the Steven Spielberg Director's Collection now. So there's still a chance it might ship. Sadly, ST:TOS doesn't look like it's coming back.

Sadly it doesn't seem to be the case. I got my cancellation notice today.

Nevertheless it would have been nice to get that set. I am happy I got defiance and hollow crown at least.

Mine too. My ST:TOS hasn't been cancelled yet, but I have zero hope.

I got an email instructing me that the order was cancelled today, and to order the new version Star Trek The Original Series: Complete [Blu-ray]

I contacted their support, and at first they offered free postage if i ordered the new version, but then they agreed to provide the original price for the newer box set.

So its worth contacting amazon and pressing them, good luck.

I just contacted them and got nowhere. I pressed them pretty hard, and they still didn't want to do anything at all. I finally got a 5GBP credit. It was a stupidly low price, but it does show a common Amazon UK practice of overselling past their stock with no guarantee that they can get more. See Arrow limited editions.

Today they provided me with a credit of 10GBP for Star Trek: TOS. I have already purchased it at full price in 2015 but wanted this for a gift.

At least it was given automatically but I understand. I also wanted the Spielberg collection.

Oh, I had asked that they honor that price for the new set, and she spent a lot of time "investigating" and checking her "resources." At first she offered 5GBP, and I asked that again they just honor the original deal, and she told me she would investigate further, and she did. She later then offered 10GBP, which I accepted. I was polite but let her know my displeasure, and I never asked for a credit, only for them to honor that price on the new set.

I asked for the same as well. The only difference being, the set I am interested in being no longer available (asking if it could be price matched in the future if a set does become available again). I didn't specifically ask for an amount but said that anything small would do and she offered GBP 5 for which I said thank you and left. I would have preferred being offered something but I suppose the item being no longer in stock meant that they were reluctant to offer anything.
