Cool

Natsume confirmed today that they have a treat in store for the Wii U at E3.

Rune Factory?
Lufia?
Harvest Moon? (Doubtful since they announced a new 3ds one today)

I wouldn't be surprised if a full Fire Emblem game never comes to the Wii U either. =( Which is strange when you think about it since RPGS are so big in Japan and the Wii U is actually doing well over there.
I know so sad but that's what the best thing about the week before E3. We can keep dreaming and hope it comes true and then be crushed when it doesn't happen. I just want to see how they would implement the gamepad in a game like Fire Emblem.

Iwata missing e3 for health reasons.

http://www.polygon.com/2014/6/5/5782...ta-skipping-e3

Quote:
Nintendo of America did not specify why Iwata, 54, was advised not to travel overseas, but said "it is business as usual" for Iwata, who will continue his duties as president.

"He's been instructed by his physician not to travel overseas in the immediate future, and so he will not be making the trip to Los Angeles," Nintendo vice president of corporate affairs Cindy Gordon said in an email. "Please understand that it is business as usual for Mr. Iwata, and he continues his normal duties as president of Nintendo Co., Ltd. while he remains in Japan. As always, he will be actively involved in all of Nintendo's activities at the show.

Mario Maker is coming...

Could be interesting if it supports Nintendo's new figure product.

The figure product concerns me. I'm already spending a fortune on Disney Infinity (I'm glad that I never got into Skylanders).

I also hope they don't over extent themselves with it. I know they are trying to become profitable again, but this move could go either way. There's already two other figure-based game IPs out there now, and those are multi-platform. They also seem to reach the same rough Target audience that Nintendo is going for. I'm sure many parents weren't thrilled about kids wanting Disney Infinity when they were already buying Skylanders. I don't think another line... one that in some cases would require people to buy another system, will go over all that well.

Looks more believable, but I still have doubts. I hope that Dragon Quest VII is actually getting a western release. I seriously bought a 3DS XL a few weeks after the remake of this game was announced only to have Nintendo and Square give me a big F u this isn't coming stateside. lol

Same here. Especially about Super Mario Sunshine. I have ALWAYS wanted to play that game since it was first announced. And I have not yet played it. So that would be a great title for them to upgrade to HD. I wonder if more titles will be forthcoming as well? Luigi's Mansion would also make a neat candidate. There are others, too.

Mario Maker? Just from the title is sounds awesome. Especially if people can share their levels with each other and then people can see how difficult it could become with various tweaks to the gameplay.

Sunshine? Why bother with that? Looking from a purely business standpoint they would sell a shit ton more copies of a Mario 64 remake than Sunshine. Sunshine isn't bad......it's just......Sunshine.

I wouldn't mind HD upgrades of most of their major titles from the N64, Gamecube, and Wii... if they were reasonably priced.

Maybe they are a little more comfortable making the transition from Gamecube software that N64 software since they just went thru it with Windwaker...

Based on the leaked info (I won't say what to spoil it for you, but you can find out easily enough), I think Nintendo has a pretty good chance of having the best conference.
