I don't have a problem. Any time a Warriors player gets in I'm happy, but I also think there are other players that should have gotten it. There were times where Wiggins wasn't even our 2nd best player.

So earlier this week there was the rumor about Morey holding onto Simmons to trade for Harden in the offseason. A day later a report came out saying Harden is committed to the Nets and not interested in going anywhere else.
Then today Woj reported that the Kings are done making a run at Simmons as they feel the asking price is too high and theres no indication Morey will budge.
I actually wouldn't have minded Simmons coming to play alongside Fox. Rumor was Barnes, Halliburton and multiple picks is what the Kings were offering.
I am just getting the feeling Morey is going to ultimately blow this for the Sixers.
Aside from Simmons I am not sure there will be lots of teams making significant moves by the deadline.

As for AD, just call him Mr. Glass already. I am not sure what the Lakers approach for the rest of the season is at this point. If they make the playoffs it will be around the 8 seed. If they don't, do they even have a first rounder any time in the near future? Despite his age, LeBron is playing at a high level, when in the lineup. Seems like a waste with the roster as assembled, not in contention. I know guys have been hurt but just seems like a lost season in general.

The news I heard was Harden wasn't happy in NJ but committed to THIS season. He has a PO next year so there's a chamce he could just leave.

Lakers have the talent to win the title, but the pieces don't fit well. If they can make them fit by the end of the season, and AD stays healthy (and plays up to his former self) and LeBron keeps playing like this, then they can't be counted out. It's a long shot, but anything can happen in the playoffs as we saw last year.

I wouldn't read too much into it. The Atlanta game was the last of a 6 game roadtrip. They now have a two day break before 4 straight games in LA. No point him hanging around in Atlanta. Just get him home, start treatment and let him rest.

I read it's not just soreness, and that he woke up before the Philly game and it was swollen. They want to wait until the swelling goes down before playing him.


In other horrible injury news, looks like Joe Ingles has done some serious damage to his knee. Depending how bad it is, and this being the last year on contract, it might be a career ender.

what does this trade mean for Dame too? more than likely out for rest of season now but im talking in the future. i mean, these moves certainly didnt make the roster better. will he finally move on?

I think Dame demands a trade which is perfect for Morey/Philly. He’s obviously waiting for something like this whether it happens or not.

Clippers won that trade by a mile.
