I have a very sad Christmas tale to relate. Someone had given me an All-Star Superman statue as a gift and I had it out on display for visitors on a table. Unfortunately on Christmas eve, the cat decides to run by it and knock it to the floor. Amazingly, most of the porcelain statue somehow survived undamaged...except three fingers, which completely broke off. I can't even glue two of them back on, as they were small enough to be lost in the carpet.

Wait the Man of Steel succumbed to an ordinary house cat? Not even a Kryptonite-laden one?

Got a Batman T-shirt (Dark Knight Returns Joker laughing), an X-Men Encyclopedia, ordered a copy of Under the Red Hood on BD (why I waited this long to upgrade, I do not know), and my grandmother found an old Batman toy of mine from when I was a kid and cleaned it up and gave it back to me. Also, my girlfriend wrapped my gifts in Hulk wrapping paper.

My wife got me the Absolute edition of Kingdom Come, which looks great. And I got a gift card, which I'll use to order a library edition of Hellboy.

A pair of Justice League boxers and a Justice League tshirt. The complete Flash TV series on DVD

Tomorrow is m birthday and if the roads are clear I will be getting $100 from my parents to spend at the end of the year sale at the shop I go to. I'll probably go crazy with the TPB sale grab bags and comics by the pound sale. And since this is skip week, I will only be getting 5 books. So I might grab a few books I've been meaning to give a try

I also was given a Google Play gift card so I could download the CLZ comic app and the scanner app. So now I have my collection at my fingertips

My wife and son picked up Ras Al Ghul from the Batman Movie Master line. Which was unexpected since we decided to concentrate on him this year instead of exchanging gifts.

Yes, the dreaded question of whether to pull the figures out of the package. It's insane how much more toys in an unopened package go for once the item goes out of print. It doesn't seem to affect statues nearly as much.

If you would see my 8'x10' storage unit which is half filled with un-opened toys you would feel my anxiety but I have learned to cope with it now.

Soooooo jealous about the 4-pack! There is no Disney store around here anymore, and that is their exclusive :/

I always open my toys
