I know its still early and game 7 of the finals is tonight. But I think we have enough to talk about considering the draft and the biggest free agency class ever. Plus all the rumors and he-say/she-say
I'm a Heat fan so I'm hoping for Wade-Bosh-and hopefully Johnson in Miami Last edited by MaCruz; 10-19-2020 at 11:34 PM. |

There's absolutely no way he's coming back to Phoenix. Their stingy owner isn't going to offer as much as other teams. Kerr did not want to leave but didn't feel he could win a title with an owner unwilling to spend, and the fact that the owner asked him to take a pay cut after a great season was pretty insulting too. It's a shame because the Suns have a core that could contend if they kept Amare and added another role player but their owner isn't going to do that. My guess is Amare ends up in Miami and Wade stays with the Heat.

Nash is a good person who was willing to take what the Suns offered because he's loyal. He certainly could have made more if he had wanted to play out the final year of his contract but chose to stay even though the 08-09 season had been a bit of a disaster with the horrible hiring of Terry Porter, whose offense did not mesh with the Suns players and resulted in them missing the players, and the horrible trade for Shaq which Kerr did not want to make but was forced on him by the owner as Shaq would draw more fans and merchandise sales.

I think the Magic,Lakers, and Heat would disagree with that! But yeah Shaq is not the same but he's not done. He could be really valuable as back up center for a contender.

im not taking away from his athletisism. He WAS a great center. My problem lies after he leaves a team and then starts talking s*** about the organization and teamates. That includes the Magic, Lakers, and Heat

I'm sure Shaq regrets leaving the Lakers now. He's still pretty damned good and was the only going for Cleveland in their choke out. Kings have rings, though, and Shaq still merits some respect. He's definitely not what he was, but still can be pretty effective.
