G'day all,

Just a quick question. Does anyone know if New Line is going to release anything on Blu-ray soon? They have a few movies I'd love to get my hands on.

The only movie that has been confirmed is Hairspray.

Other that that I'm pretty sure they're working on the LOTR trilogy. God knows when I'll be released though. When it does I think it will sell a ton, probably breaking records (and my wallet)

check this out....kinda old though:

G'day,

Thanks for your response MovieTime. You make a valid point. It would be a shame if it is true though because this war could be going a while. Thanks again for your input.

G'day,

Thanks Razzy, I didn't realise that they'd confirmed 'Hairspray' or that they were working on the LOTR trilogy. Thanks again.

No problem.

I kinda hope they're working on the Austin Powers movies. I'd love to see those in HD.

Cool

I think New Line Cinemas is the key studio for Blu-ray to win this format war.

The UK will benefit from this greatly as most New Line Cinema movies (Austin Powers Trilogy, Blade Trilogy, Lord Of The Rings Trilogy definitely) are distributed by Entertainment In Video over here. In other words: LOTR, Powers & Blade as well as many more will be BLU-RAY ONLY in the UK!!

That's doubtful, considering the numbers we're seeing right now. Additional content from New Line would be nice, but in terms of Blu-ray's statistic edge it doesn't seem to matter.
