My sole viewing of this left me with the vague memory that it can get cringe-maudlin at times- but it was overall affecting, and I have wanted to see it again.

This isn't related to Save The Tiger but Luv was added to Amazon Prime in HD last month:
https://www.amazon.com/Luv-Elaine-May/dp/B0B8QSXZYB/

It has not been released on blu-ray and it is not available to buy/rent digitally in HD.

Even though Jack said this was one of his worst movies when asked by Johnny Carson, it's still worth checking out. The discussion starts at 0:20:

Also, You Can't Run Away From It is available for the first time in HD as an extra in the Columbia Classics 4K Ultra HD Collection Volume 3 box set released this week:

I hope this gets a UK release (although I doubt it) just to save on shipping. As far as I can see you can only get it from Australia?

The new Imprint release of "Save the Tiger" seems to be OOP already - at least on their own website. Could this be one of the 70s Paramount titles that KL wanted to release as a new restoration? Judging from the screenshots, the transfer seems to be from an older master. Though the Imprint supplements are likely superior to anything Kino will put together, I'd still prefer a newer transfer if one gets available. Not sure what to do, since I've been burned (or nearly burned) a few times by Imprint already.

At the moment I'm thinking of not getting the Imprint release. Perhaps KL will do a remaster. After all, Jack Lemmon won an Academy Award for Best Actor for this film, so there might be enough interest in the title to warrant a lower-end remaster.
