You can see why retailers and this site would be confused though: https://www.kicks.com.au/product/bev...hd_blu_ray_uhd.

Collateral and Coming to America are the same in showing 4K UHD and Blu Ray.

It's funny but I just had look on Amazon.au to see what cover version (1 or 2 disc) that they are advertising as selling and I see that the local Beverly Hills Cop 4K (single disc only) is according to them up for pre-order to be released on March 17th 2021!!!!!

https://www.amazon.com.au/Beverly-Hi...7577372&sr=8-4

The local Collateral 4K is also on there but unavailable and the local Coming To America 4K isn't even listed on their site (or at least I couldn't find it anywhere).

This is why when I hear complaints about JB - whether it be about them mixing Blu-rays and DVD's or their website not showing something as being available for Click and Collect but you can find it in the store or any number of issues people seem to have with them - I look at what's becoming of Amazon.au recently in relation to 4K and blu rays and I'm seeing titles going out of stock really quickly or not being available at all and I hate to think of what life would be like for us consumers if JB ever stopped selling physical media.

It is definitely worth importing. A fantastic transfer.

I don't know what has happened to Coming to America on Amazon. I had it in my watch list until Tuesday, when I removed it because I bought the disc from JB during Wicked Wednesday, but it has definitely vanished now.

They do have the US version available for import and that has cover art showing 4K and Digital but no Blu Ray: https://www.amazon.com.au/Coming-Ame...dp/B08JB1XDNG/.

the specs were updated Monday when it was confirmed in hand how many discs there were, if you mean the cover art, that was also submitted for updated images but they have not been approved by the mods yet. The information was posted in the "last blu-ray watched/bought" section Monday too.

Well, the UK Tenet is cut. Here's hoping we don't inherit it on ours like Bumblebee 4k

Tenet 4K seems to have been delayed in NZ. Mighty Ape is now listing it as 3/1/21 and JB has no stock. It’s probably sitting on one of those container ships parked out in the Hauraki Gulf. Regular Blu-ray is in stock though.

Guess they sent the BDs by airmail... either that or the sticker-pickers didn't show up for work again

I’m not really getting any clarity from that thread, especially as it devolves into name calling very quickly.

Yeah the thread is junk. I'd advise you to read the single post I linked to (unless that link isn't working on some platforms)

Is it safe to assume that the UHD of Tenet is the cut UK disc while the local Blu-ray/DVDs are uncut?

And what of the theatrical release?

It hasn’t made it to my local branch yet. Meh, might as well wait for Boxing Day now.
