Any word on when/if Barbarian will get a release? Strahge it hasn't already been annouced since it's been almost two months. Not even a digital/streaming release like See How They Run.

Bummer Stack moved to the JB website. Stack's release list was always way ahead of JB's websiterelease dates.

Theres no physical release announced anywhere in the world yet and with Disney's recent track record with physical media who knows what they plan to do. Plenty of discussion on the Barbarian movie thread about this potentially never getting physical release but honestly who knows.

Yeah that’s gone. Have to just check the online retailers for preorders now whenever they get updated.

Is it safe to assume that the local 4K release of 'The Driver' is not happening now? JB and Kicks both only have the BD and DVD listed.

Yep looks like it. Blu ray and DVD only also at Amazon.au and Sanity. Only ezyDVD still lists a 4K but at this point with only temp art featured it seems clear the site hasn’t removed the entry for a cancelled release.

It's the same 116 minute directors cut

The US 4K of Highlander is just a port of Studio Canal's encode, the only difference is dub/sub options.

Yeah I don't expect to hear from Kicks again. They only made an appearance on these forums when their Kicks store took off which shows to me at least it was purely a Kicks.com thing and not a USPHE thing. To be honest from the beginning it seemed like they only entered the forum to drum up some business for the website. Sure they provided some goods bits of info and some questions were answered here and there, and that's appreciated but a lot of the time (particularly towards the end), they only really posted links to preorders on their site. Their last post was November 10th so its possible the person who posted on here isn't working at Kicks in any such capacity anymore. I said it in another thread...it was nice while it lasted.

I saw Dragonslayer has finally been announced for 4K and BD in US. What are Paramount local releases like? Any chance we might get it here too?

Pretty disappointing that 'Violent Night' is DVD only. Not a masterpiece, but good fun and could definitely become a Christmas staple.
