Do you know if there is anyway to get Czech Blu Rays (or even DVDs) to the United States?

I had imported Marketa Lazarova from the terry-posters site. It only took about a week for it to arrive to the east coast of U.S. Shipping alone was really salty though, about $26.00 U.S. for one disc. But I wanted it and knew I was going to have to pay through the nose in order to get it.

That site currently only has the title you are looking for in DVD though.

Also keep an eye out for Ebay sellers. Some titles show up that route and are generally cheaper. I think Kuky was an example of one found that way.

I'll defiantly keep an eye out on Ebay. Thanks for the advice. I think I had saw it on DVD as well on one of the European Amazon sites (as an Import to whatever country it was), but that was sometime last year. I'm still looking around some Czech sites, and even though I see it on a couple, I don't know 100% if they won't ship to the United States. I'm on the (south)east coast as well, so I assume I would get it around 1-2 weeks if I find a shop I know will ships to the states.

I've ordered several Czech dvds from the following site without any problems, and they have very reasonable shipping rates.

http://superstarshop.cz/obchod.php

They are English friendly (see british flag in corner) and take Paypal.

Hope this helps.

They've got my order (smart move on their part since I highly doubt the movie will ever make it to the US).

What do you mean: inside humor only for Czechs and Germans or no English subtitles on this Blu-ray?
