I'm going with this version. Was going to go with the steel book but the bonus disc and art work win out here

I'm guessing its going to be something like this: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Les-M...Blu-ray/66221/.

I have that version of Les Miserables and also have the Best Buy steelbook which I put in the slip cover along with the interchangeable cards and digibook to have the best of both worlds(I then ended up selling the extra copy of the regular Les Miserables). If Rogue One is anything like that then I may end up doing the same.

Just placed my order. They're still offering the $5 gift card too

How good is target at release day delivery?

Not very, in my experience.

I usually get em the day after, so it's not a huge deal. They also use UPS, which I can't stand. Maybe it's a regional thing, depending on where you live you might get it day one. But I never have.

I usually order all my stuff from Amazon so they send me these Amazon delivery drivers using their personal cars. Nothing wrong with that but their delivery times are all over the map, 10am-9pm. Ups usually get the stuff to my home before 4pm. When I lived in SoCal Ups and FedEx delivered everything by 11am. Same driver too so I got to know them well. Not so much in the Midwest.

The other concern with Target is that they use those corrugated mailers, which usually screw up slipcovers and will probably screw up the packaging on this, whatever it ends up actually being. Dinged/smushed corners, mainly. If you can get to a Target store on Tuesday, I'd go pick one up in person. Use the online order as a backup in case your store sells out or something.

Just got my shipping notice and $5 eGift card last night! It's expected on release date via UPS SurePost.

I've had better luck with release date delivery with Target recently than Amazon Prime, receiving both "Deadtime Stories" & "Wishmaster Collection" on their release dates. Hopefully this one follows suit. The slip on "Wishmaster" was pristine despite being delivered in the corrugated packaging by UPS directly. I expected the worst when it came to that one.

I'll probably still go pick up a copy in-store just in case the shipped copy comes mangled.

Mine has made it to Pennsylvania. Should arrive Tuesday. Still no e-mail with the $5 gift card yet. I do have the Best Buy steelbook on order for in-store pickup too. I'll probably sell the non-Target discs but keep the Target bonus disc and changeable cards along with the steelbook from Best Buy. I'll sell the Target discs and case to someone in Papua New Guinea when I return their in a few months.

No. There is a digibook available in Australia, though.

I could pick that up as I pass through in June, but my wife would kill me if I bought another copy.

haha, but it's a store-exclusive there, so I dunno if they'd still have copies in June. I did actually pre-order it and then cancel, I think it was gonna cost me about $33 with shipping, which ain't bad.

The organisation I work for has a "buyer" in Australia. I could just have him pick it up and hold it for me at the place we will be staying. But as I said, my wife would kill me, so I'll pass on that wonderful opportunity.
