Digi is a no brainer for me. Not a big fan of the steel front artwork at all.

yeah this looks cool. So you get the blu-ray digi-book + a seperate book thats all about the alien creatures? Ive strayed away from steelbooks as of late. I just find the quality and build are just poorly these days. My batman vs superman steelbook was full on shattered at the hinges and seen others that are bent. I think the the digi books are just a better presentation for DVD.

I can't be certain until in-hand pics surface, but it's just a digibook. Not a digibook with another book.

I really want this digibook, but, I'm going to have to go with the BB 4K steelbook because that's the only way for me to get the ATMOS audio. I do wish that Target would release both formats in the digbook like BB does in steelbooks. 20th century fux doesn't seem to do ATMOS on blu, only 4K of late.

sure with Target would do dual releases.

Default Weak In The Presence of Digibook

I'm so weak, as in scored a deuce of $5 GCs for Tide and who knows what and as soon as I arrived home, entered those digits for the double dip (BB 4K SB already on pre-order), all the time saying to myself it's no big deal because I pre-ordered the SB at $24.99 and saved $10 on the $20 digibook.

Have mercy.

Target doesn't offer free shipping deals or $5 GCs for preordering anymore?

Target has gotten away from their gift card promotions. They used to offer around 5 titles per month with the promotion. Recently, they have done it with single movies for a week (GotG2, Fate of the Furious), but it is sporadic. I wish they hadn't stopped, because getting a $5 gift card and free shipping (RedCard) made my decisions so much easier.

Any more insights into how exactly will this be packaged?

Like Logan / Age of Apocalypse - digibook inside a slip?

Or like Huntsman: Winter's War - book packaged with the case/slip all in cellophane?

So are we getting this on Tuesday? It's a bit odd that this still doesn't have a Release Date on their website... Has anyone's order been updated?

Nothing here. It's Target, so par for the course.

So, it isn't just me that hasn't gotten any shipping notice? Good.

I haven't received a shipping noticed either, and I think it's due to the site/system not showing that it is set to release this Tuesday. Usually my order would have shipped by now, but since the system doesn't show it releasing next week, it doesn't trigger the warehouse collect and ship the item. If it doesn't ship by the end of today, I'll probably cancel and pick it up Tuesday since I know it won't get to me by then.
