Nice . Not to brag but one point I had a top tier massive collection. I don’t want to mention titles. Once I got to a certain volume of paper my insurance adjuster had to come out with an expert to see If the photos I sent him were fake, I guess he assumed I was gonna Insure them and torch a fake collection, about 6 years ago I sent 99% of my collection to an auction house. Paid for almost my whole home to be built. Congrats on your piece I still have my NLD poster framed and On rotation in my hall

Isn’t cine masterpieces like a high end one sheet scalper? I’ve never bought from him but pretty sure I’ve seen some posters with specific defects sell on eBay for a low price end up at cinemasterpiece site at a huge increase.

Since original movie posters aren't produced for public sale, they don't have an MSRP price unlike a comic book, pack of cards, etc. So it's not really a fair assessment to call them scalpers. The last place to value an original movie poster, in my opinion that is, is eBay, which has become a haven for unlicensed reproductions and counterfeits. Sure, there are originals on there, from private collectors selling off parts of their inventory, to people who work at a movie theater, or knowing someone who does, to sell any extras they may get but value on originals is from a number factors. I have been in the original movie poster business for 31 years, you may find one dealer selling something for $500, and another dealer selling it for $300, at the end of the day, since it's not a retail-produced item and only printed once by a studio, prices can be all over the map.

Absolutely they are...there's no way they can justify those prices.
