Imprint website, just on 5pm and cannot access it!! Almost as bad as trying to buy tickets for some major band on ticketmaster or whatever - every tom, dick and harry in aus as well around the world trying to score some decent bargiins right now.

I seriously cannot stop laughing at this post. Is it serious or just a joke?

You're not missing out on anything. The single disc titles on the Imprint "black Friday" sales page are "generously" marked down to $34.95 Australian dollerydoos. JB Hifi sells the same Imprint titles for $29.95 every day of the week. So it isn't really a sale at all, JB are selling imprint titles for $20.99 with their Black Friday sale. SO Imprint's "sale" is a bit of a joke.

Add them to your cart, when you check out you get 50% off that price - $17.48 each. So not really "a bit of a joke"

Things are finally working and showing correct prices. I missed the last copy of Wicker Man, but I still managed to grab a few things.

There are many titles at $17... not bad for some of the out of print ones: https://viavision.com.au/shop/catego...ay-flash-sale/

Collaborations, Warriors, Wicker Man, After Dark all flew out instantly!

Well, I'm dumb, I just noticed that I mistakenly ordered 2 copies of Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead. I sent them an email, I hope that they'll be able to do something about it.

I don't know what it is with me and ordering from Australian labels, just last month I accidentally ordered The Last Wave on DVD instead of on Blu-ray

You would laugh less when you see how much money I paid for it. I got served by a scalper that had the indecency to leave the original price tag on the plastic wrap to show exactly how scalped me. Beside that, he actually provided me with a partial refund for damage as he should when I bought the item listed as brand new.

Anyways, sent them an email and they replied asking for my location and the source of the sale. Hopefully, it will work out.

Highly recommend people get Burn, it is an incredible film, and a big deal it's getting theatrical and extended in one release, off 2k and 4k scans. The scope and vision of the movie (the director of Battle of Algiers) but also having a great Marlon Brando performance in it too.

I am very impressed with Imprint's cover art.

Usually Australia is stuck with shitty, sloppily designed covers for Blu-rays. I'm thinking of the original Friday the 13th as an example: it features Jason's hockey mask, which does not appear until the third film. Very lazy. The US is lucky, they get neat cover art without the awful classification logos that appear on ours. Fortunately labels in Aus have recently (last few years) been designing reverse cover art without the classification, so once you've purchased it you can choose the design minus the content advisory etc.

Australia's cover art for the original Friday:

America's superior design:

Having said that it's not Australia that was stuck with the hockey mask design, it seemed to be the cover art for most international releases of Friday the 13th outside of North America.

"We can’t wait for our November new releases to get to your shelves – but unfortunately…
A mastering delay, out of our control, has forced us to delay the release date for our November titles to December 7. All November pre-orders will start shipping from this date. As disappointing as this news is, we know our Roland Joffe, Neo-Noir, and Brendan Fraser fans will rejoice when these limited editions are in your hands!
On the plus side…
We’re thrilled to have recently made an interstate warehouse move, to bring you more reliable and efficient service in 2023. This move, though vastly beneficial in the future, has caused minor delays in the short term across all orders.
Next year we will be back on track – pre-order direct to receive your packages faster than you can say imprintfilms.com.au – well packaged, and with fast and free shipping Australia-wide.
P.S. – March announcements coming Friday 16!"

I'm sure it's in no way connected to the various sales and discounts JB HiFi is currently running, all of which cut out on December 7
