[Canada] Where to buy quality affordable poster frames?

After a brief google, all of the well known retail stores sell low quality poster frames that either look cheap or are impossible to assemble properly. I don't mind ordering online (USA/CAD Shipping) as long as there are reputable reviews. I live in BC if that helps any locals point out a small business.

For a poster that's 24x36.

Also, I have never bought frames before so if quality frames are over $100, please let me know. Not worth purchasing a $100+ frame for something I spent under $40 for.

I know you mentioned chain stores, but that's all most regular folks have near them up here. WM will sell cheap-style cardboard-backed poster frames for the $8 kids prints that seem to always live on the end of that one aisle. Beside WM, there's Michael's and... not much more. Maybe IKEA? Amazon?

For me it comes down to: How much did the poster cost me? Do you want it to permanently hang there, or go for a nice back-lit frame to change your posters?

For me, the frame can't cost more than the poster. But original Star Wars poster? Go all-out museum quality. B-type poster from a movie that you like, but only cost you $20, go to Michael's with their 50% off coupon and find something.

You can always go custom framing, but if they ever glue your poster to a backing in any way, it is ruined.

I just hit up Michaels when they put out the 50% coupon, grab the $90 24 x 36 frame for $45... not bad, and it's really nice looking. I have pics in my gallery if you're interested to see how they look.
