Oh man, no way can I resist that Tales of Adventure set. I love Yvonne De Carlo and Yma Sumac. This will be mine...

Oh, and I cant forget Shemp!

Thanks. That was my first attempt as well, but it didn't work. However, yesterday I sent them my fourth message using the contact form, and they finally answered! Apparently, they'll be processing my refund shortly.

The Adventures Collection looks fun. Likely mainly Universal and Colombia 40s and 50s B movies though. Of the films in the first volume, only "Arabian Nights" has been released by someone else before (Kino Lorber in the US). While I am intrigued by the colorful packaging as well as the Columbia films (KL's relationship with Sony has been getting worse apparently, and I frankly don't see another outlet for these kinds of films in the US right now apparently), I am wondering whether there will be some of the KL Universal International blus released in the volumes ahead, some of which I already have (e.g. Maria Montez).

Beware my Lovely! Finally. This never even made it to DVD, other than a bad Italian DVD I imported. This is Robert Ryan at his best, making you uncomfortable in your seat as you watch him pull this role off.
Thank you Imprint!

The Haunting of Julia is HUGE news for me. I am a diehard fan of that movie and thought it may never see the light of day. I remember seeing it on a public access channel when I was in high school (in a very muddy, bad-quality print), and there was something profoundly eerie about it, to the point that I never really forgot it. It is such a strange and frightening film. I actually went as far as buying a digital copy on Amazon a couple of years ago just so I could watch it in a semi-decent print. I am ecstatic that Imprint is releasing this. That is a must-purchase for me. I have to wonder if it will get a North American release sometime after the Imprint edition (possibly Arrow Video?). In any case, I am pre-ordering that pronto.

Is this only the second Imprint to include a booklet (with On The Beach preceding it)? And the first with a soundtrack CD? [Something quite common with Umbrella's Ozploitation line.]

Both seem notable—although the value of booklets always depends on the content-to-padding ratio (looking at you Arrow).

Go glad that Imprint is also releasing The Haunting of Julia with Full Circle included in the cover art because that is the titles I saw the film under at the cinema back in 1977 and what I have always called it.

I'm thrilled it is finally getting released - such a thoughtful and moody film. Plus I'm a big Mia Farrow fan.

Pretty sure Second Sight or Arrow will do a UK release of Full Circle.

Debating whether I should pre-order or wait and see who else will release these. I am thinking I will pre-order The Haunting of Julia, if nothing else for the exclusive extras.

Where do the film noirs in the Essential Film Noir collections come from, Paramount? Any chance we may see them later from a US company, like Kino? I see they all have new 2021 transfers, so that may be enhancing their chance of releases in other regions. I am especially interested in The Enforcer and Beware, My Lovely (the latter of which I own the original US one-sheet poster from).

Anybody know why Imprint Preorders at Deep Discount are now $40+ for single titles?

As far as I am concerned EVERY label should supply subtitles on pain of government fines and forced withdrawal from sale. That includes all the majors and all the minors as well.

I really, really love the box and artwork for Imprints version of Full Circle / The Haunting of Julia, but, despite the fact that I am not a fan of Shout Factory, I can't justify getting the Imprint set over a UHD.

Then again, who knows? The UHD might be terrible, and I might just end up with Imprint's anyway.

I wanted to clarify this because it's inaccurate. Both versions on the Imprint release are stereo. The back of the box on the theatrical cut indicating it's mono is wrong. Previous releases of the theatrical cut were in stereo also.

The big problem for EAGLE HAS LANDED is that the extended cut isn't just "rough," it's a STANDARD DEF UPSCALE and should have been marked as such so people paying a premium for this release knew what they were getting.

Has any of the titles in the various Essential Film Noir Collections been released elsewhere aside from the old BDs by Olive in the US?

Kino released a few, and a couple popped up in Indicator's Columbia Noir sets.
