I went through 5 different stores last weekend trying to find cat food. Had to settle for something they don't like as much as their regular brand. It's frustrating.

I went through something similar with meatballs last week. It showed in stock but even with assistance couldn't locate them. I ended up going to a different Walmart to pick them up.

I work at a grocery store and they've had it out the last few weeks. A few days after Christmas they already had it on the shelves.

In fairness, Valentines Day has a shorter turnaround than most holidays. They will put out Easter stuff just a few days after V Day. They like to jump from holiday to holiday...

One of my grocery stores is already has Easter stuff up as well.

I don't like the approach to pricing Walmart is taking with their indie label releases. Usually the DVDs from ITN, Uncorked, Wild Eye, etc. have been around $9.99.

Today I picked up two ITN DVDs that were priced at $12.00 and $12.95, and a Asylum release that was $14.25. And I passed on a Uncork'd release because it was $19.05!

I can understand going up in price by a couple of dollars (but it's weirdly inconsistent, one ITN release last week was $10.xx), but $20 for the Uncork'd DVD was surprising. Guess I'll save that one for a hopeful Dollar Tree find in a few years.

I believe I saw a few oddly priced Paramount releases recently too that didn't have a .96 at the end, for example ST Prodigy S1P1 on DVD

I saw a single IT Chapter 2 4k with slip on the shelves with a tag for $25.57 I think it was. I found that weird. That they have that random copy and for a weird price.

Yeah, they used to be my go-to for the $9.96 RLJE DVDs, but lately they've had weird prices like $14.12 or whatever.

I used to buy a lot of the Shudder titles from RLJE for $9.96. Now they haven't gotten them in lately. When the movie watcher was suppose to come out. They never got it and nothing else ever since.

I noticed the store I visited today dropped the price for the Secret Headquarters Blu to $22.xx. Still more than I would pay, but that's a more reasonable "new release" price.

I bought Dune on Blu-ray during the Wal-Mart Black Friday sales. I opened it today to watch it and it had a tiny scratch on the Blu and more marks on the DVD. Since Blus are very scratch resistant, I was hoping it would not affect playback, but it causes the movie to jump ahead in a scene and you can not rewind back over it. I sent a message to WB's home video e-mail to see what they say about it.
