Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl doesn't stream in 4K.
I find that extremely odd because it is 4K at all of the retailers, and the other four Pirates of the Caribbean movies stream 4K on Movies Anywhere |

Just an update. I forwarded the list to their Customer Service last night. Here is the response I received.
Please note that our team is working to add more 4K titles in the coming months. Thank you for providing the titles of your favorite movies that are not yet available on Movies Anywhere as 4K. We will be sure to pass them along to our team! Kind Regards, Nicolette, Movies Anywhere Customer Care |

I want to point out here Movies Anywhere as itself, does not OWN or "possess" the titles they show. They are if you will simply a "digital bridge" to their associated vendors. You neither "buy" a title from MA, nor when you redeem a MA code is that possessed by MA. You are actually authorized to "view" that title through the MA service, but depending on the users location, that title goes through the vendor closest to your location for the best quality experience. Note from these statements:
"Think of Movies Anywhere like a digital bridge between online video vendors. It supports the US big four -- Apple iTunes, Amazon, Google Play Movies and TV and Walmart's Vudu -- as well smaller vendors such as Comcast's Xfinity TV, FandangoNow and Microsoft (the movies app on both Xbox and Windows 10 ). " Can I purchase directly from Movies Anywhere? No. Movies Anywhere is essentially a front end for your film library. If you see a film you want to buy on the Movies Anywhere service, clicking the buy option will bring up a pop-up showing you which vendors have the video. Pricing information is not displayed, however, nor does the pop-up mention if a 4K version is available at any of the services. You'll have to click through to see which is the best for you. https://www.cnet.com/how-to/movies-a...%20the%20video. This article originally was from Feb 2019. |
