The Mario experience of your dreams has arrived and is bursting with creativity... including yours! Play a near-limitless number of intensely creative Super Mario levels from players around the world. What was impossible in traditional Mario games is now impossibly fun, so let your imagination run wild!

I can't believe there wasn't a dedicated thread for this game.

There wasn't for most upcoming WiiU games so I always talked about them in the main thread.

Aye see.

Am more interested in Nintendo & user levels. With SMB 2 or 3, can users use a slot machine (SMS 2) after a level or create a bunch of levels in SMB 3 & have a Mario select level, prize, castles etc.. Or will these be stripped from the game & you just play random levels?

I will be picking this up on Friday, just two more days. It sounds like I will have to play with the internal clock on my Wii U to get everything unlocked faster.

Waiting on the digital unlock. Game is already installed.

Watched the physical unboxing video. That looks pretty cool. Why the cardboard box? Well I think it's not just because of the booklet but because NES games new were boxed that way.

The Japan release is in a box with the same style as the boxes for famicom games

There ya have it. Well that unboxing YouTube was the main Nintendo channel & they didn't even clue into that.

No need. They issued a day 1 patch that unlocks the stuff every 15 minute splayed now.

Played a bit & think this could be a very strong GOTY candidate.

Creating levels is real easy on the Gamepad. That was my main concern. The 86 Mario looks shockingly good in 1080p

There are only 2 themes available to create. SMB & New SMB U. Though there are levels you can play in a mode that is basically finish 8 levels with 10 lives. In it, there is SMB 3 & SNES Mario levels. I also found user levels of SNES ones online so not exactly sure why those 2 games are not yet available.

When you play a created level you made, there is always an "edit" box on-screen in the lower left portion that stays there. I dunno how to get rid of it or if you can.

You can create & save 30 seperate levels. Not sure if you can link them yet for continuous gameplay.

This game is awesome. If it is not GOTY then I would be shocked. All of these crazy A Japanese sensei made mario levels are just crazy and fun and bring pure joy to ones face once you have beat them.

Nice image.

Kinda vague but ok. I played with the editor for an hour. I guess that's not good enough.
