Default COMPANY CLAIMS 1080p at 30 fps for $179

I am amazed at how cheap everything is getting. This $179 HD camera with HD recorder claims to record in true 1080P (1920 X 1080 progressive resolution) quality at 30fps!!! It will record up to 528 minutes on a 32GB SD memory card using MPEG-4 in 1080P quality (at least that is what the marketing brochure claims).

Of course this $179 1080P camera recording device is not as good as a Camcorder that costs $3,000 or $5,000+. Even some camcorders under $1,000 these days use 3 CCD's with optical zoom lens.
http://www.worldeyecam.com/store/product.php?productid=19991&cat=0&page=1

I know many of the so called 1080P consumer cameras and camcorders are really 1080I and they upconvert the image to 1080P for marketing purposes.

** It would be ideal if there was a detailed list of camcorders that offer true 1080P recording at either 24fps or 30fps **.

Are there any true 1080P consumer camcorders yet that record at 24P or 30P? This one for $179 claims to be a true 1080P.

Surprised no one mentioned the kodak zi8. Granted it's not the cream of the crop as far as camcorders go but for a pocket cam it is very good. It can be had for around 150 if you look at the various websites. Picked one up to take with me for my snowboardin trip in Korea this past december and the images are crisp. It films in 1080p but being a pocket cam, the shakey hand issue shows up a lot more on 1080p. However, 720p at 24fps is stunning. Lowlight conditions does suck and almost renders the cam useless. But, daytime shots is where it shines.
