I never really read the books anyway, I just like HAVING them if they're spinebound and pretty.
Now I gotta go cancel my Amazon preorder.

Yeah, that's the best part about them, but why cancel your pre-order?

I thought Amazon didn't have the Target book?
(Besides, I wanted to get a Looney Tunes preorder in too, and only had one $25 gift certificate.)

Unfortunately, I don't need a Cinderella storybook.
Same here. If Disney did digibooks - actual digibooks, like Jaws as you said - I'd be all over them. They'd even get me to double dip, too, because I would get the standard blu-ray case to match the rest of my Disney collection, in addition to the digibooks put out.

But I don't need a Cinderella storybook.

Yeah Disney should do digibooks, if they were to rerealese the blu-rays in the vault as digibooks they'll totally be worth the double dip

can someone please fix this so that when I click on the forum link in the Blu-Ray page of Cinderella this appears instead of the "A Cinderella Story double pack forum"?

Grabbed one this morning. Only about 6 on the shelf. No signing to help you locate it just a normal tag. Somewhat hard to find. Was located on an endcap as the preorders usually are though.

So basically, since it's the same transfer as the DVD, are we going to have lost inks and other detail like this?

Damn, I really hope not, but Disney HAS been spot on with the diamond editions and other high-profile catalogs (Dumbo, Pinocchio, etc..) so Im hopeful

It looks to be so, people from the europe have confirmed its the same transfer, and Disney has released clips with the same transfer.
Edit: you can refer to this thread for more comparisons: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=204278

Thanks for the link.

Sigh . . . between this and Pocahontas, Disney Blu-rays have become utterly disappointing.
