Default HDR support for mobile devices

Hi,

the last few weeks i again and again contacted the MA support to tell them I would like HDR playback/download support for mobile devices. If someone is reading this and agrees with me, contacting them really helps so please do if you would like to see them implement that Thanks

I got an AMC survey. They asked about importance of MoviesAnyWhere. Anyone who gets this definitely stress the importance of that. Hopefully AMC starts linking with MoviesAnyWhere. Then hopefully they will do some digital promos like the other theaters..

I agree, that would be cool. I bought a ticket for Bad Boys For Life the first weekend out, and they gave me digital codes for the first two movies (which I didn't have). I can only watch them on AMC's service, which leaves a lot to be desired. But if they link to Movies Anywhere, that'd be cool for their promos for sure.

Edit: Checked my email after replying, and I had the survey, too. Filled it out and put Movies Anywhere at the most important on the two pages you're asked about it.

With discussions about where, and how, within VUDU to redeem codes, had an interesting thing happen yesterday.

'Hunger Games 4K Set', each disc is its own package with respective code. Entered my first code via "VUDU" code link and got an "HD" copy. Hmm..was in a 4K box but thought, oh well.

Then got the idea to enter another code via "Digital Code" link instead and it came out as 4K. So went back and re-entered my previous code thru "Digital Code" and it changed from "HD" to "UHD". Very surprised, and pleased.

Entered remaining codes via the look-up box then "Digital Code", re-entered the title each time (a pain but what do you do...right?) and all remaining codes came out "UHD" from the get-go.

Never realized there might be a difference in which 'path' you enter codes on VUDU. Oh, and all are on Movies Anywhere as I linked the account long ago.

Interesting as I always though that the Vudu code link was just for those "Vudu Only" copies that sometimes got packed with discs that were never UV.

They know. Instead of editing their post, they commented on that fact in the edited comment section.

It seems Regal and Vudu have a thing going on. AMC could use MA in the same way and take it even further.

Incredible Mr. Limpet (Don Knotts) is not MA compatible, strange because it's a Warner title.

Should I try doing this with my UHD Air Force One digital code? I went straight to VUDU to redeem and it redeemed as HD only. I wonder if it will make a difference...

There are a few random exceptions, ran into a different title recently although I don't recall what it was.

Maybe licensing issues?

Has to be, because Mr. Limpet used to be on MA.
Was gonna md2d it on Vudu, but not now.
MP and the Holy Grail also is not MA, despite being a Sony title.
In fact, Meaning of Life is the only MP title available on MA.

Mr. Limpet was never Movies Anywhere.
