I use to use DVDPRofiler, but I found using the Collection Listing that Bluray.com offers is a much better and much easier system to use. I also have easy access from my phone, so what more do we need?

I personally want full control. Currently my collection is in an Open Office spreadsheet, crude but it shows what I want. Eventually I'll set up my own searchable database

This.

Luckily didn't lose power, but I had friends and my mom who were still without power in Sterling, Round Hill and Purcellville as of last night.

Yes, as it's a separate app. However, the app has been on sale for only $2.99.

(Picked the above titles up on EBay for $3 each which included shipping. Mostly guilty pleasures, DVD's I had yet to upgrade to Blu-ray.)

And yes, I remember down time like this a time or two over the years. Not in the recent past best I can recall though. Hopefully Invelos.com is not down for long. Who knows though considering it's the weekend. We shall see I guess.

The question for me now is...
Do I add the above titles manually or wait for the online database to come back online? Thinking I may just go for it. I have a separate database just for my DVD collection that contains the DVD profiles for most of these. Would be easy enough to backup those profiles, then import them to the database for my Blu-ray collection rather than build each one from scratch. Once imported it would just be a matter of updating the UPC's, Disc ID's and other aspects for each.
Damn, which seller? I haven't launched DVDProfiler for Windows in awhile and glad it's ok. The program still doesn't have many titles in my main collection with all categories including some from the Owned 2 section.

I used DVDProfiler for a while but less and less titles on my collection are recognized. So I took a try at My Movies and I must say I’m pretty impressed. Even the most obscure titles on my collection are recognized in this app. So I decided to switch program.

As with most programs, and just like this site, the database is built by the users. The less users that are willing to help contribute data then the greater the chance that a title will not be recognized.

I purchased 26 of those from the listing found here. Looks like it's slim pickings at this point.

Didn't want to create another topic about this.

But right now invelos.com is down again.

Anyone else?

I'm cataloging a few titles here as we speak and yes, their website is down. Noticed a couple hours ago. Perfectly content to create the profiles I need from scratch so.

Been down for a few days now. Is this the end? I can't handle it.

Can you add discs manually without accessing the server?

I think it is the end, my friend. Exploring other options (My Movies, right now)
It was great while it lasted.

Wow, I was with them since April 2001. However, I stopped adding titles to my database around a 1000 blu's ago. I just liked the way I can organize and view them on here instead and it got to be redundant adding them to DVD Profiler also. 20+ years is a heckuva run.
