Default The worst movies you own just because they're steelbook?

I bought the Total Recall remake steelbook just because it was super cheap at FYE. Besides that, GI Joe: Retaliation, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Iron Sky have to be pretty far down there too.

I actually had Clash of the Titans and Wrath of the Titans but decided to get rid of them when I made the decision that I wasn't going to buy every single steelbook that came out in the US market, so no Gods of Egypt for me.

None, if I don't like it not going to buy it. Any blind buys I don't like get traded. Out of my steels the least one is Dazed and Confused which is a good film.

I sold off all of my Target exclusive duds (The Gambler, Ender's Game, Lucy, etc) so I'm trying not to buy bad movies in steelbook anymore. I would have to say Jurassic Park 3 and Resident Evil: Extinction just because they are both part of franchises and the weakest entries in their respective series.

Raises hand, terrible movie but that steel is rather nice looking
I would have bought Gods of Egypt for the same reason but $28 was way too much

I agree. I actually don't have any steelbooks. But I certainly wouldn't buy a movie I have zero interest in just because it's a steelbook.

Had this thread appeared a few years ago, I would've said the remake of "The Wolfman".

I wished I never wasted money on that garbage film.

It didn't stay in the collection very long.
That's what you get for blind buying a film in a relatively nice steelbook.

I admit there's 2 in my collection. GhostRider Spirit of Vengence because the graphics were cool and I would still watch some of the scenes. Back then Steelbook copies still included the 3D version.
My other bad movie is Dark Knight Rises. It's Christopher Nolan's worst movie beside Inception. Got it to finish the trilogy so I won't regret it.

Blind bought HMV's Riddick. It's too bad I didn't like it because the steel is a real beauty.
