Default anyone use DCB Service for comics?

http://www.dcbservice.com/index.aspx

anyone use this? The prices are pretty good. Would be nice not having to drive to the store / get a big stash of comics at once. I guess my question would be how is the service, would you recommend it, do the comics come in perfect condition or does the mail ruin them?

I just ordered from instocktrades.com which is their sister site. Shipment was impeccable. I've heard nothing but good things for both sites.

I've been using it for over a year and they do a great job of sending comics in great shape. Also saves a good bit of money as well.

As much as I want the local comic shop to succeed, I also want more money in my pocket.

I used to use them A LOT for trades until I got an amazon prime membership. I rather have my book shipped right away than wait once a month for them to ship them.

I used them for years when I was actively collecting. Everything came in excellent condition with maybe the once in a blu moon damaged comic which they replaced with no trouble.

I'm no longer collecting for a myriad of reasons. My collection became really overwhelming (I have 25-30 long boxes) and I just wasn't keeping up with reading everything I was picking up. Organizing was starting to feel like a chore (I'm actually going thru them all again now to get accurate lists so I can sell most of them off). The ever increasing costs of comics themselves compounded with the feeling I was getting less story for the buck due to story decompression. Creative bankruptcy from the main 2 (DC & Marvel).

Regarding the last two reasons (story decompresson and creative bankruptcy), I was just getting frustrated. I found it extremely obvious that some stories were being stretched out for a trade. One example I remember is a 6 panel page of a book with 6 panels of the same "shot"...someone lying in bed but each panel just zoomed in a little more. I'm sure it was supposed to be for "dramatic" affect but it fell flat for me and came off as forced. There was also a period of time where is seemed like everyone popped out a kid (Wolvie, Hulk, Batman) and those sworn never to return came back to life (Bucky, Jason Todd). To be fair though, I hear that the Winter Soldier storyline was excellent. I feel the return of Jason Todd did nothing but hurt the Batman Mythos though. Rebooting titles also burnt me out as I enjoy my continuity. I haven't picked up a Spider-Man comic since Brand New Day. From what I've seen of the new 52, I'm just not interested at the moment.

Don't get me wrong though, I know there have been plenty of excellent stories told since I quit. These days I just find myself a little more interested in the history of comics than the future. I'm reading the Batman Chronicles trades right now and plan to start Superman, Flash & GL next. I am also rereading some of my favorite storylines from my collection that I haven't read in 10+ years (Preacher, Warren Ellis' Stormwatch run, Morrison's Animal Man, Claremont's X-men).

It really is. Bucky was definitely one of those characters who I felt should remain dead (Gwen Stacy. Uncle Ben. Barry Allen..ack!). But WOW, Brubaker hit that storyline out of the park! It is so well written and the character is treated with so much respect. I couldn't wait to get to the next issue every month.

If you can borrow it from a library or get the TPB cheap, it's definitely worth the read.
