jealous/hater members ?(Members Downrating HT Gallery)

lately i have noticed many have removed the ratings from their albums. or the entire album.

would it be because of unfair ratings being left ?

perhaps there has been a thread on this ? link ?

thanx. i knew there had to be a thread on this. i am just starting to read it. but so far, i agree that one should have a rateable gallery in order to vote.

btw. the member that gave me a 1, changed it to a 10. after i pm asked why i got a one.

I remember when that other thread was going, and I even posted in it once or twice. In the time I've been here I had one guy rate my HT gallery a 1 out of 10 because I have an Xbox 360 and then there was another time when someone created a secondary account and went through rating everyone a 5 and gave himself a 10 of course. In both instances a moderater removed the ratings in question.

I had a guy that rated my HT a 1 also, but he was banned. Honestly as long as you don't give me a 1, I'm good.

My HT is okay, but it's not a 1!

Sometimes it is an honest mistake by a new member...thinking a 1 is the highest score. However, a mod can usually take care of any erroneous scoring that appears to be with bad intentions.

I never rate the HT galleries, I will leave comment on how great it look's, most of your guys stuff look's truly amazing to me. I would give a ten to everyone I mean compare to my little setup some of you are HT gods

I know I mis-understood the scale before. I saw stars and though then that 5 would be 5 stars or the top score. Mistakes happen to be sure.

Just incase you're wondering if a low, or '1' rating was given by mistake by a member then check their profile.

A nice chap called Johnsmeets decided to rate my gallery with a 1 so I thought ok, it may not be his cup of tea and he might have made a mistake.

I checked his profile out, and he has posted 52 Blu-Ray Movie reviews, so he obviously knows how to use the rating system.

I know my gallery ain't everyone's cup of tea, but I think any setup deserves more than a 1 rating !

Holy crap man, just checked out your gallery It's absolutely awesome and nobody in their right mind should give it anything other than a 10. Again, simply awesome set up.

How someone could rate your system a 1 is beyond me. When the guy left me a 1 (I don't remember who he was but I think he was banned) I contacted a mod and he was kind enough to remove the rating and the nasty comment. It's not out of vanity because I know I don't have the greatest system out there, but rather because the guy did it just to be an ass.
