Any Belgium members on here? - Page 3 - Blu-ray Forum

Hi belgian movie fans!

I'm going to travel to Brussel next week to training and I would like to know is there "the place" to shop BD movies? I found out that near my hotel in Evere area is some big looking shopping mall/hypermarket. Is there anything? I read this thread and checked out Free Record shop & Fnac but apparently the latter operates from France and FRS is somewhere downtown.

Any advice would be appreciated. Price don't need to be cheapest but not premium either. Shopping will be for killing time in evenings but I'm not willing to spend 25 € per movie either.

Don't know for sure, but I don't think you'll have to expect much from that mall in Evere. You can look around to be sure, that also kills the time

In the centre of Brussels you have "La Rue Neuve" / "De Nieuwstraat" which is a large shopping street. It has a Fnac & Media Market inside a building called City2. At the end of that street there's the "Muntplein" with a Free Record Shop.
Mediamarket and Fnac have the most choice, but the boxes will be mostly in French.
As I want them in Dutch I sometimes buy my BD's on the frs.be website and have them delivered for free in that FRS shop.

I just work in Brussels and that's it.
It might be the capital of my country, but aside from my workplace, North Station and that shopping street I hardly know my way around in the city.
