i really can't get my head around how to load pics/ covers, where do people get the pictures of the covers from?. can some one explain it to me as though i was a 5 year old, or pm me please.

Do you mean the covers that are uploaded to the site's database? Stock images seem to be preferred so I think most come from retail listings (Amazon, Best Buy, Target, etc.). Google image search can also be helpful and sometimes members upload their own pictures when high quality images aren't available elsewhere.

its the pictures that people paste in their 'what are you watching tonight' and similar threads like that. I just don't understand the process of doing that.

Well, you can use your own pictures or you can use the cover images in the database. To use the ones in the database, you first have to find the movie.

If you scroll all the way to the top of this page, you'll see tabs for 'Blu-ray', 'Movies', '3D', 'DVD', and so on. Click on Blu-ray and then start typing the title of the movie in the box underneath. When the title you are looking for appears, click on it. For instance, if I wanted to post the cover for A Most Violent Year, I would find this page:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/A-Mos...lu-ray/121934/

See the numbers at the end of that url? The 121934? That's the movie's ID number. Copy that number and paste it between BD tags exactly like this:

[bd]121934[/bd]

When you post that code, the end result will be this:

I am trying to follow these instructions but all I get is the Attached Images at the bottom of the page & not the image itself(you click on Attached Images to get the image you want, I just want the image I upload itself)...

I would like it to upload just the image to post not the Attached Images!

in the instructions I am not finding the arrow next to the attachment icon to click...
